I just can't get into multiplayer gaming anymore.

I played the Uncharted 3 beta for a few hours and was just really bored.

And I LOVE Uncharted 2.

But once I play through 3's single player when it comes in from GameFly, I'll probably be sending it right back.

And after that on the list is...Saints Row 3.

I haven't played a game like that in over 7 years.

This too. It's really fun and I've never been so into online multiplayer before.

Yeah, it's a blast. There's not much out there like UC multiplayer, and it helps that we've grown a great community. I made the first topic two years ago, started playing with Dave, then Wigs, DP, dragon, and it grew from there! I think there's been a UC topic on the board for two straight years now.

yeah I fell asleep immediately last night, the Con is exhausting

I skipped the UMvC3 panel in order to wait for Walking Dead/Avengers, even though there was like a 3hour difference. That's how long the damn line was. I got to the IGN theater at around 1:30 and watched Monty Python, Nikitia (zensgirlfriend has a crush on one of the guys in that show so it was ok), Ghost Rider 2 (incredible, the end of the trailer actually said "f***king your s*** up"), Total Recall (which looked bad bar one really cool scene), then Walking Dead which showed this absolutely chilling scene with makeup and blood effects EVEN BETTER than season one, and then a 45 minute delay, then AVENGERS

the scene they showed with Ruffalo and Johansson was great, I have complete faith in Ruffalo now, and during the panel he was hilarious. But nobody was as funny as Clark Gregg, holy s***, he had so many great stories, and he sang some weird song about the Avengers "having a Hulky." He seemed so thrilled to be there.

and tom hiddleston got EVERY QUESTION. Someone even asked what his favorite norse myth was and I was like "oh it's gonna be the one where a horse rapes Loki" and Tom leaned forward and said "the one where the horse rapes loki"

it was SO GOOD, and the last question was about Guardians/Inhumans, and Kevin Feige said "oh yeah we're nt gonna have a rocket raccoon or groot movie," and everybody cheered. So now I want a Rocket Raccoon and Groot movie

but the quietest was Chris Evans, omg. He said maybe three things and smiled like... once or twice. The guy next to me worked for some site (he gave me his card) that does movie reviews, and he said he's interviewed Chris three times over the course of his career, and he's lost enthusiasm more and more since he became more famous, because he really just cares about being on the set doing stuff in indie films because being a high paid actor means a lot of trailer time. I thought it was BS but oh man he really did seem like he wanted to die during that conference. It took a whole room of clapping to get him to take his hat off just for a second

so yeah it was fun

So it seems an Arkham City action figure gives away another villain to appear in the game. I won't say who it is because, I kinda wish I didn't look in the first place, but my curiosity and hype got the best of me.

It isn't the same genre. Secret Six was a fun book involving a great team with great characters with plenty of violence and humor.

Suicide Squad is a team book that isn't at all focused on character development and just exists to be as violent as possible with no humor or fun.

Nowhere near the same.

It's comedy violence. It's the exact same genre. That's like saying Brute Force wasn't a third person shooter just because it was so ****ty compared to Gears of War.

Koolaid, Giant Bomb did a Load My Last Save for Brute Force recently. Christ, it was a mess. They had intended for that game to be a big deal, too. There was even a book! What a disaster.

A fan asked who the smoky girl on the cover of the first issue was, and Chase said it was Solstice. Chase also confirmed that there were plans for both Beast Boy and Raven.

Best announcements: Wood's "The Massive" is an ongoing rather than a feature in DHP, new Image books including the next Brubaker/Philips book and an Amanda Conner pencilled mini, DC hires a woman.
Worst announcement: Old Image books in the form of Extreme Studios' return, Phoenix is probably back, Loeb writing a Wolverine mini.

At least Jason Aaron's Wolverine goes out with a bang with #300. Art by Adam Kubert as well? Hellz yeah. Plus, we still got Aaron's Wolverine and the X-men and now Brian Wood's mini-series, so its not all bad. Still...ugh, Loeb/Bianchi, who wanted that s***

Best news for me was Stefano Caselli drawing the big Doc Ock Sinister Six story in Spider-Man. One of my biggest complaints with Spider-Island is that Ramos artwork, and I'm so glad he doesn't get to screw up another big story arc here. Stefano's art is clean and sharp, classical but with a style of his own. After Martin(who's left to do Daredevil), he's my favorite of the rotating artists on Slott's Spider-Man, and I'm glad he's doing the next big story. I've been wanting an awesome Sinister Six story since I was a kid, and I think this might be it.

Second best news is Shaolin Cowboy is coming back. Geoff Darrow doesn't draw a lot of comics, but that's because they are so heavily detailed and awesome he has to spread them out over a few years, baby.

Best announcement by far for me is Brian Wood (Northlanders, DMZ) doing a 25 issue Conan: Queen of the Black Coast adaptation, that's gonna rule hard.
