tbqh the only reason I sucked so bad with Morg was because 1. I picked her for you and then got stuck into playing her because no one else jungled, and 2. I got counterpicked and literally had Pantheon follow me around for levels 1-9. We literally did laneswaps between mid and top 8 times and Panth followed me each time.
I much prefer solo lanes and when I am given someone like Garen top or Kassadin mid I tend to absolutely **** on the opposing player and win the game.

Literally the only game I played yesterday, with Sytha (and which got me suspended until tomorrow because yesterday was the dumbest, most miserable day in history) had a Graves ban and people well aware of his OPness. Don't underestimate the speed at which pubs learn who's OP.

why are the people that play this game so miserable?
This mundo died twice in lane and declared that we lost, refused to do anything else all game, tried to surrender at 20, tried to surrender repeatedly every time he could, told me I was useless for warding dragon, and was generally a big fat nerd.
There is no ban hammer big enough.

Defeatists like that believe that LoL snowballs out of control like that, or maybe they just think if they can't win, how can these scrubs on their team do anything?

Plus you always decline our invites to games and it makes me a sad panda. Anywho, any tips for Support Zilean? My laning phase is fine. I open with Charm, 3 wards, and 2 potions. At 5 minutes I ward dragon and triangle brush depending on who the jungler is and how dominant we are in lane. I then spend the next Ten to Fifteen minutes bombing the Hell out of everything moving. Where i'd like a few tips is the post laning phase.

There's only one reason to pick support Zilean in high level play really. Like, for low levels, he can pressure the lane really well and make it difficult for the other AD and support but realistically, if you are against another decent bottom lane, it'll be harder. Post laning phase is all about landing your ultimate. Hotshot said it best on his stream a little while back. The reason why Zilean is one of the best champs in the game right now is because of his ultimate. But unless you are really good at landing it, you are almost a detriment to your team. By clicking the wrong person, or just using it incorrectly, you can bait your team into fights or ruin a fight that you would have normally won had you ulti'd correctly.
This whole reason is pretty much why mid lane Zilean is BETTER than support Zilean. Because his ulti is going to revive that champion to full rather than just 1/3rd or half that a support Zilean would. To be honest, he's not THAT great as a support in high level play, but he is still fun and can help dominate a lane if the enemy duo slips up a little.

I hate solo queue because, as someone mentioned, you have a good chance at getting some crappy people on your team.
Every game I play in solo queue, whether I am on the winning team or the losing team, there is always someone in the game that is just awful, giving up 4 deaths before level 6 and buying some of the strangest things (like 2 Doran's Shields and a Tear of the Godess on Ryze that I saw last night).
Solo queue is mostly about Lone Ranger antics. Very little communication, and everyone just trying to be the superstar.
Draft mode has been a big help for me, because we can actually talk about our game plan and I don't have to deal with mirrors or every team composed for 2 FotM + New, broken champ + 2 others.

The only thing I don't like about draft mode is that people get into a static team comp. I had a real fun game yesterday where it was olaf (me)/talon/jungle blitz/shaco/annie vs maokai/xerath/morg/wukong/fiddlesticks.

Yeah it's still good to experiment and to try and improve upon the way teams are built, but the vast majority of players aren't even that good at the current high level meta. Maybe it's "boring", but I think people should at least be accomplished at the current style before trying to go off in a new direction.
Bio, if you're going to insult my play, but not tell me what I did wrong or how to get better, feel free to just never talk to me again, kay? I get enough of that from random ass pugs. I don't need it from you.

If you're supposed to get Blue, that's all well and good and I understand that. Generally in solo queue most junglers will prioritize themselves for buffs because their own skill level is a known entity, and you might derp away the buff in the next 30 seconds. However if you've proven that you're a good laner (by reading this guide, perhaps!) then your jungler should give you the buff. If you just go take it without saying a word, I'm more likely to come Smite it out of your hands because a strong player would know to ask first. Politeness goes a long way!

I agree. Low-level players like me should be at least be competent at the current style. But in the game I mentioned, both teams weren't really trying to "improve" the meta. it was more of a silent mutual agreement to just pick whatever the hell we wanted. On a sort of related/unrelated note, I just won a game where it was Mumu solo top, Annie and Talon mid, I'm solo bot, and Noc jungle versus traditional Jax top, Xerath mid, Janna/Kog bot, and Fiddle jungle. Annie was last pick and went mid, declaring how much she hated Talon players thinking they deserved mid. Such a ridiculous laning setup.

I either heavily overrate my ability to take hits or completely underrate it. Realo can attest to the fact that I play Vayne like a b**** because I'm afraid of getting blown up.

Find the key abilities that can **** you up. Watch the characters that have those like a hawk. Go in once they're blown.
Bio I tanked so much for so long that to this day I build Rod of Ages on all AP carrys just because I like the feel of HP. When you play Vayne and i'm sitting there with Zilean chain slowing everything everyone off you and waiting to ult you, you have to tumble away then turn around and start shooting things to death when they forget about you. Then tumble away if they focus you again.

Any tips for a new player? Or at least a guide or website to learn the glossary? I don't think i'm terrible, but I'm comfortable with saying I'm not that good. Been playing for about... 2 weeks or so.
