Eh, there's definitely some truth to it, though. Like...the Magic the Gathering card preview board now has a ton of people posting un-labelled youtube links to pony reactions. Most forums have avatars (I know I have a pony on at least one or two internet forums out there) which if someone is really, really sick of seeing ponies could get annoying. (I mostly use avatars as a quick visual clue to who's posting, and don't really mind ponies at all for this unless multiple people avatar the same pony).
