Maybe even less! And if you sprint across the volcano room does it even hurt you in the time you're in there? I'm pretty sure it's 100% optional throughout the game. Basically, if you want to make it easy, aim it so it's "in line" (aiming in the right direction, if you move it off slightly and arrow will tell you to point it back), then pull up your map, and make a mental line straight forward from where you are looking. Then move like 20 yards left or right, lock on your dowsing again, pull up map again, and figure out what is in a line with where you're looking now. Where your mental lines cross is where you'll find your target. This will make them dodge instead of block and counterattack. Usually after they dodge, they'll do their taunt. For what it's worth, I sat directly behind my TV and pretty close to it (less than five feet away). I always rest my hands on my lap when playing, so I just hold it that way. Just buy red pots(Which are insanely cheap).
