Kakaroff is memorable, but not that deep of a character. Pretty classic slytherin, always thinks of himself, including ratting out death eaters when Voldemort falls, and making a run for it when Voldemort rises, and playing favourites among his students, and accusing all the other schools of playing unfairly when he plays the most unfair. And that is the entirety of his character. His opponent is Lupin, a rather interesting character in terms of how conflicted he is, and how unwilling to accept love he is. Especially after book 7 I'd call Lupin a top tier character.

What do we know about James? He's a rich snob of a bully. The books literally make parallels between him and Draco Malfoy, right down to giving them nearly identical lines on the Hogwarts Express. "Imagine being sorted into Hufflepuff. I'd leave wouldn't you?" "Imagine being sorted into Slytherin. I'd leave wouldn't you?"
Firenze, on the other hand, I find kind-of interesting. Betrays his species by interfering with their prophecies, and teaching their star reading to students out of loyalty to Dumbledore. And...honestly, probably has more lines. Yeah, Firenze feels like the correct choice here.

Hilarious match. The crazy wizard who wants to be a muggle, and the crazy squib who wants to be a wizard. Hmm...Arthur is more likeable and more comedic in his obsession, so I guess I'll go with him.
(4)Dudley Dursley (13)Gregory Goyle
Bully with redemption scene vs bully without redemption scene. And...not just that; I'm pretty sure Dudley had more lines, and actually was the leader of his gang, so we get more insight into his personality and what he wants.

Yeah, that's fair. Arthur isn't exactly the deepest character--no real character development throughout the series, just kinda there, and has his one gimmick. Then again, Filch is similar. My vote was more of a gut reaction.
