Board 8 > Are any MMOs significantly better than WoW?

I've been trying some FTP ones and nothing is really better (not surprising because lol free stuff). I know some people say GW and TOR are better but is it significant? Like if I've already invested enough time and energy into WoW to get to max level and the like is it really worth switching to something else?

Wait for GW2 like everybody else.

Otherwise you might like TOR, it's like WoW + voice acting and kinda meaningless choices.

It depends what you like in an MMO.

WoW is one of the most accessible MMOs, but there are plenty of MMOs with more content, or better graphics, etc.

It's better, though debatabley 'good', and it's free. The SA thread title describes it pretty well: The highs are very high, but the lows are very frequent.

Feels extremely clunky to me, I don't know but it didn't feel polished nearly enough.

I'm not necessarily sure what you mean by clunky, really. They've refined CoH a ton since its release.

Have you played RIFT? I mean yeah a lot of it is a complete rip off of WoW and such, but when I played it the instances were fun and challenging, regular updates for content (new content even when some of the old content was not even cleared. Awesome world events, invasions, Warfronts (which again are ripped off of WoW really) etc.
