Anyway!

I'm going to a viewing party tonight, and the entire cast (minus Busy Philipps/Laurie) is going to be there. They're going to be screening two or three new episodes, plus...

...they'll be playing penny can!

So excited! I wonder if there will be copious amounts of wine...

And in case anyone still doesn't know, the show comes back on Tuesday, February 14th at 8:30. Get hype.

Woo, it was awesome! We got there on time, but none of the actors showed up until like 25 minutes after the event was supposed to start. This would've been annoying, but it was just cool being in a VIP nightclub, plus the drinks were free, so I really couldn't complain. Oddly enough, no wine.

It was also made bearable, because one of the producers showed up with four Penny Can cans and a bunch of rolls of pennies, and I was sitting in the booth right in front of where they were, so I was one of the first to play. It was pretty awesome.

Anyway, then the actors started filing in and they mingled with everyone that was there. Probably about 100 people or so showed up, so not that crowded. I ended up getting a picture with each of them, except Dan Byrd/Travis because I didn't see him anywhere, and except Busy Philipps, because she wasn't there at all.

After awhile of that, they sat everyone back down and played the first two episodes of the new season for everyone. I won't spoil anything, but they both had really great endings, each for a different reason. The first one I think took everyone by surprise. Needless to say, the show's still got it.

Then it was some Q&A. I was going to ask if there were going to be anymore Community references or cameos this season, but someone else beat me to it. One person just had to be "that guy" and complained, saying those two episodes felt more like Two and a Half Men than it did Cougar Town, and he was rightfully booed by everyone. Seriously, it was just as good as always.

Finally, there was some more mingling, and I managed to get a picture with Dan Byrd to complete my set. I also got a Cougar Town shirt from Brian Van Holt/Bobby before we left. All in all, great night.

Pics! The first two are pretty bad, because my friend was standing too far back. The pic with Courtney Cox is also pretty bad, unfortunately.
