Is there a way to remove the "you are ignoring (blah blah) users on this page" or whatever? Aside from, you know, un-ignoring somebody? I use Chrome and GameWeasel.

It really defeats the point of ignore though, doesn't it? I only ignore one person, so when I see the message, all it's saying is HEY THIS PERSON YOU DON'T CARE TO THINK ABOUT IS POSTING!!

The Chrome equivalents of GameFOX don't have a way to completely ignore? I know GameFOX does, but lol ignoring people

What's so funny about ignoring people? There's one person, maybe two people that get on my nerves. I concede that it's silly that they do, but I'd rather come on here, talk to folks, don't have to read their infuriating posts, and go about my business. I actually keep all of the trolls unblocked. Because I know trolls when they're trolls and I know when someone is personal and, as such, legitimately annoying.

I guess GameWeasel doesn't. I'm not really sure.

Go here: %AppData%\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\User StyleSheets

Open Custom.css

Paste the two lines in there and save it.

div.pod.board_wrap p {display:none !important;}
div.pod.body.board_wrap p {display:none !important;}

Reset Chrome.

Tell me if it works.

The ignore feature is useless to me because I don't like only getting one half of a conversation.

For instance, the wrestling topic will occasionally entertain MWC because occasionally he is rational there. So it's a pain in that regard, because it's like "what am I gaining here?" All that's happening is I'm out of the discussion loop in a community where I enjoy the discussion >_>

I would use it all the time but for me it has to be a kind of unilateral thing - as in, EVERYBODY does it - because otherwise my curioristy just gets the better of me.

I do understand that. And I tried to rationalize that for a long time. But instead I left for like four or five months because I found myself legitimately being bothered by these two people. I didn't get mad, but I found myself thinking about it with a negative connotation, you know, outside of GameFAQs. And I don't like that. I'd rather just assume they don't exist. They don't really contribute anyway, so I'm not missing anything. It's not a controversial user who is a troll or anything like that.

In the case of GameFAQs extensions, I wholeheartedly agree. However, I earn my living on the internet, and Chrome is far superior for the things I need to do.
