Snape pulls the double, winning the Save My and Tournament, although he had more trouble in the tournament, notably only beating Dumbledore by 3 votes.

Because everyone was blinded by the explosion caused by that Crumple-horned Snorkak's horn impacting with something solid and as such picked the wrong option. Or something. Yeah that was pretty terrible.
I... didn't really want Snape to win again, but the alternative was a character I'd never rank over Snape under any circumstance. I wish we could have crowned Harry, Dumbledore, Hermione, or Sirius (hey, a girl can dream) the winner, but things did not work out that way.

And since I didn't get to post my "Why Harry is awesome Rant" I'll do a short one now.
Most people in the wizarding world are too afraid to even say "Voldemort". That includes death eaters.
Those who are brave, call him Voldemort. This is Harry in the first 6 books. But even then he's a step above the rest, willing to point out to the hypocrite death eaters that their mate Voldemort is a half-blood.
But then you have the final book. Where he doesn't call him Voldemort. He calls him Tom Riddle. And before that, ONLY Dumbledore had been so brave to use that name. The name Voldemort hated most of all. The one associated with a common muggle. That takes a LOT of guts.
Harry throughout the series defies Voldemort probably more than anyone not named Dumbledore, and let's face it Dumbledore is probably equal in power to Voldemort, or somewhere around it. Sure, he has some luck. But it still took BALLS to stand up to Voldemort in the graveyard. And it took BALLS to tell the ministry to screw off, because they couldn't believe him.
The Reason You Suck Speech he gave to Voldemort was probably one of my favorite parts of the series. And I think he even made Voldemort just a little afraid there. Which takes a LOT. And I really love how Voldemort is like "You must believe you have magic that I do not, or a weapon more powerful than mine." and then he says. "I believe both." Which is a VERY strong statement.
Harry's kindness throughout the series is shown very strongly. Despite him hating Snape... he still felt terrible about what his father had done. How his father had bullied Snape. It came to him as a shock. And I think it's a true show of character that he was concerned about that.
He's very capable of magic. A fast learner, and probably one of the best DADA teachers the school has during his time there. He manages to get all of his students to pass their DADA Owl, despite Umbridge's terrible classes. He also equips them for the battle of Hogwarts.
I think in ways, he respects Snape -- after all, his signature move? Was taught to him by Snape. And really the only reason he learned it that way, was because Snape wasn't trying to hinder his progress during the dueling club.
Harry manages to pass his potions OWL as well. Something that really stands out, because he does so poorly in the class otherwise.
His friendship with Ron and Hermione is very strong. And I'd say his relationship with Hermione is the best in the series (I've said it before, I know)
Harry is a great man, and a great wizard really. In the first book... he does it the right way. He doesn't jump in, and try to get the sorcerers stone. He finds out about Nicholas Flamel. Which is exactly what Dumbledore hoped he'd do, so that he'd be able to in the future figure everything out for himself (which he does, aside from Horcruxes, and that's mostly because very few people know anything aboutt hem)
One of his greatest moments is going into the forest to die. To die for everyone else, as his mother did for him. Which shows JUST HOW MUCH he is like his mother. "You have your mothers eyes". And the eyes are believed to be a window to the soul.
Each of the three 'lost boys' seemed to represent a Deathly Hallow. Voldemort died for power. Snape for a lost love. And Harry? Harry met death like an old friend.
And of course he goes on to become the head of the Auror department. Because let's face it, when you have "Defeated ****ing Lord Voldemort" on your resume, what can really compete?

Lavender definitely goes from white to black, starting at the third movie I believe, but I SWEAR with like 90% certainty that Dean switches palettes twice.

Top half of the bracket was way too stacked. Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape, Sirius, both the twins, and Neville were all in the top half. Those are probably all in my top 10.

According to her page on the Harry Potter wiki, Lavendar didn't actually appear in the fourth or fifth movies. She wasn't in the first movie either, for that matter.

Anyway, she definitely started as black, and she was definitely white by the time she was dating Ron in HBP.
