Actually that would be perfect. Host an Open Invitation MITB where no one is announced and then when the match comes it's those 4, Miz, Dolph, Santino, Kofi and some crazy spot halfway through by like Foley. Then at the very end have Wade come out, deliver a chair shot, climb ladder and win.

Going back to the Cruiserweight thing, I went ahead and looked up Impact between 2010 and now. If the title is restricted to <215 lb superstars, Jeff Hardy loses it to AJ Styles, who holds it for almost 2 years before losing it to Kazarian in February.

Either that, or they just give the belt to the first Cruiserweight that wins a WWE match after Jeff leaves

Hardcore Championship Lineage, SCENARIO 2

In this scenario, The Blue Meanie hijacks the title after taking the belt from JBL and bolts to 1PW!

The Blue Meanie
Tracy Smothers
Colt Cabana
Samoa Joe (title is now in ROH)
Christopher Daniels (title is now in TNA)
Samoa Joe (2x)
Roderick Strong (title is now in ROH)
Davey Richards (title is now in PWG)
Austin Aries (ROH)
Chris Hero
Roderick Strong (2x, title is now in IWA:MS <_<)
Davey Richards (2x, FIP)
Bryan Danielson
Samoa Joe (3x, ROH)
Kurt Angle (TNA)
Samoa Joe (4x)
Kurt Angle (2x)
Christian Cage
Abyss
Kurt Angle (3x)
Sting
Kurt Angle (4x)
Tomko

then Tomko really makes this a pain in the ass by getting pinned in Japan in an IWGP Tag Team Title match. I'm considering the good Japanese folk to respectfully return the title to Tomko so the title can stay in the mainstream promotions. If you want to know that lineage let me know and I'll look it up. In the meantime, I traced the title through Japan, but I am definitely NOT researching who got pinned in tag matches and such, so Japan changes the rules so that the title can only change in a 1-on-1 match. Under those conditions, we get this:

Togi Makabe (NJPW)
Hiroyoshi Tenzan
Togi Makabe (2x)
Hiroshi Tanahashi
Shinsuke Nakamura
Keiji Mutoh
Hiroshi Tanahashi (2x)
Manabu Nakanishi
Hiroshi Tanahashi (3x)
Takao Omori
Masato Tanaka
Togi Makabe (2x)
Shinsuke Nakamura (2x)
Togi Makabe (3x)
Tetsuya Naito
Toru Yano
Hiroshi Tanahashi (4x)
Prince Devitt
Toru Yano
Tajiri
Michael Kovac (SMASH)
Genichiro Tenryu
Starbuck

and the current champion...Fit Finlay.

The title goes through eight promotions with this lineage. I believe Christian Cage has the longest reign in this list. I still can't believe the title ends up on Finlay.

rock's history lessons - the first two - were great stuff. frankly the less time he spends trying to justify or prove a point the better because he'll get schooled in those regards. he already backed off being a phony (y'know, his original "I see through you, Cena! We all see through you!" only for it to... not go that way at all) and is still going with the same premise despite it already having failed. 'rock hates cena' is simple enough and the less he tries to justify it as anything else, the better. that of course doesn't make for a great feud, and it'll burn out, but he can prob score a few more weeks with it which is all he needs. empty, but better than just plain having nothing. though his merch anti-shilling was more anti-wwe than anti-cena. <__<;

cena meanwhile should stay far away from taped stuff. somehow, he sucks at it. yet they've let him go pretty freely on the mic and he can work that well. lookin' forward to that part at least. between humor, zings, insults to both the rock and himself, the guy rounds out the full package quite well. though i'm not sure where they're going with this part right now because cena still is saying there's a difference and i'm not sure there's any payoff to 'AND HE'S CHANGED!' it's like cactus jack/mankind or something. not sure it works that way!

but this thing took up so much of raw, goddamn.

War retains his trivia master title in pretty convincing fashion.

13-9 in the final round over XIII. Zea put up a decent fight in round 1 as well.

I will probably take a week or two off to give JaKyl a chance to EARN his way back into the big game. Or who knows maybe he'll make an R1 exit next time <_<.

The trivia lowpoint of all time was XIII winning R2 with but a single point gained only via a guess that hinged on XIII reading the question wrong. (though quick factchecking showed that one of the questions I gave Jakyl was unfair but still TECHNICALLY correct and he accepted his loss like a man)

Yeah the thing about this whole feud is that they're f***ing it up by trying too hard. This all could have been set up easily enough with Cena making some discouraging remarks about The Rock, The Rock showing up and saying he will whoop Cena's candy ass for disrespecting him, and they just keep going at it as one-dimensional characters. Instead they tried to set this whole thing up with Rock "saving" WWE from Cena, and Cena saying Rock is a traitor and a phony, and they teased a Cena heel turn for months but now that's all gone, and the whole thing is way more complicated than the writing team can handle.
