Sakarea was good, much better than I expected.

As for Accel World. Holy god, I think this is the worst main character I've ever seen.

He's pretty much a typical loser anime protagonist made worse by the fact that he doesn't have a single trace of likeability. I mean why does he hate life so much. He has those two friends who pretty clearly care about him. How does he repay the girl for making lunch for him? Why, throwing it against the wall and acting like an unappreciative baby. Seriously, what the ****? He also has one of the absolute worst designs I have ever seen. My god.

I'm now aware that Rainbow started airing like two years ago now, man. Anyway, Rainbow is awesome. I really liked the Shigurui manga too. Wasn't a big fan of Five Leaves personally, but if you want to watch something more relaxed, that would be the one to watch since Rainbow and Shigurui are really intense. I mean

it really depends on what he wants to see since they are all very different shows that are pretty good from my experience (although I've never seen all of Rainbow yet)

natsuiro kiseki prettty good.

Reminds me of an all female ano hana in a lot of ways . SoL with a heavy drama aspect. If it manages to toe the line and stay non-stupid it should be pretty great.

Sankarea was ok. Strongly written characters but the premise is a real turnoff.

i dont know why you think every protag has to be a good or even likable person. I think him being this way carries the most potential.

I never said "every protagonist must be good or likeable." This guy had seriously zero positive traits and there was no reason to care about him. He doesn't make any sense. Why does he hate his life so much if he has a friend like that girl.

Oh, I thought that was pretty obvious but it mightve been in the second episode- everyone he knows either bullies him or is only nice to him out of pity. Hes just a fat kid with no self-esteem and he hates himself for it- which is understandable i feel.

The only person who has ever been interested in him for any non-pathetic reason is the other girl who taught him to accelerate.

Just as meticulously crafter as the first season but perhaps lacks the strong emotional core that Bakemonogatari, through its characters managed to reel you in with.

JC Staff has had good, even great anime before but I don't think they've been as good over the past few years. If this weren't a VN, I would be more optimistic.

Also speaking of P4, I'm pretty far into the game. I think the dungeons are pretty boring but otherwise, it's great. I'm definitely looking forward to watching the anime.

My internet at home is awful, so I'm having trouble downloading things when I'm not at school. But I've manged to see some first episodes for the season...

Zetman was pretty good, I really didn't expect much out of it, but it might have something. I'm not quite sure how the grandpa raises the kid without teaching him about like some basic things in life, but I guess i'll let that slide.

Zombie of the dead was just as good as expected, maybe even a little better.

Lupin was good, again, around what I'd expect from what I know of previous stuff.

Medaka Box was good. It was probably the the new show I was most looking forward to (besides TRAIN HERO obviously)

Natsuiro Kiseki was...pretty boring. It's very close to drop status already. It really has to suck if I'm ready to toss out a slice of life like this after an episode. Well, I as going to say this but then... magic rock... I don't even...

Sengoku Collection...how moe.

Sankarea was better than I expected.

And finally, I really enjoyed Acchi Kocchi.

Amazing episode, but nothing new there.

Fun idea, but yeah, not funny. Dropped.

Acchi Kocchi
Started out really cute, and felt pretty promising...but then it turned out to be a "comedy", unfortunately. None of the jokes were funny, and most of the supporting cast was crap, especially the clumsy girls (why are there two of them). Dropped.

Upotte!
Man, this felt pretty enjoyable when it was a slice of life with just the girls. Protagonist guy seemed cool at first too, but then he turned out to be an utter failure. They even have his eyes darkened so you can't fully see his face. Still, it's a pretty fun concept and they're using it in a solid way. Will keep watching for now, especially since MC-dude wasn't around most of the time anyway.

I have not really watched anime in a loooong time, but Toonami last week made me give it a try again. I decided to try that Medaka Box thing.

Holy s*** that was great. Have not laughed like that at an anime in a long time. It probably helps that the sub was excellent.

I want so much more Medaka Box.
