Simple, if B8 was an RPG who would be in your party and what class would they be? Feel free to go as in depth or as shallow with your set up as you like. You can insert yourself into the party, or pretend you are the player and they are the game, whichever way you wanna go! Create multiple parties if you want. Go nuts!
I’m gonna be using a standard Final Fantasy type set up where you’ve got 6 characters; 3 fighting and 3 in reserve. If you like you can specify which game or universe you’re basing your party set up on. Or not! Don’t feel like you have to stick to traditional characters either, perhaps you’d like to turn B8ers into pokemon. Who would your starter be? What type would they be? Who would you keep in your drop box?
Sess -Paladin (crusader against racial and religious intolerance) Commodore -Cleric/Fighter (primarily a healer but is also prepared to fight people who disrespect him) XIII -Summoner (calls upon others to do his bidding) Icon Time Mage (has the power to like things before they are cool) Mer -Red Mage (adept at sex with either gender) Wigs -Calculator (it's his literal job or something like that)

Pikaness - Knight / Heavy Tank
Stingers - Thief / Speedster
Satai Delenn - Bard / Multipurpose Support
Not sure who else was in the Board 8 Bomb Shelter.
Right now? I'm probably one of those mercs with some decent stats, but I don't get chosen because there are others with better stats or character designs. I've got no stats or moves that stand out, but I'm not worthless enough to be used as a joke character. I'd be NU-tier, and I'm okay with that. Like with Pokemon, I was probably great to use once, but more and more choices came out that were stronger and were more effective and some of the others from my generation got upgraded moves or stats and became huge again, while I'm still relatively untouched. With a little effort and change, I could become a force on the scene again, but I don't mind being capturable on a few routes only to be boxed forever. Let those who can shine do because I'd be using them as well =D.
Ideal team:
Sir Chris - Shadowknight / Tank with sharp, constant damaging moves that can turn battles around in an instant and has a powerful finishing move Ryokles - Rogue. Melee-class with quick delivery and a sharp blade. You never know where she'll pop up and backstab you for maximum damage (and laughter) AlecTrevelyan - Cleric. Everquest-style with the heavy armor and blunt weapons, not fragile Final Fantasy rob-wearers. This guy is pure support. You know you're going to survive with Alec around because he knows how to help everybody out and has the strength and fortitude to take some hits himself. CrimsonOcean - Pirate. No real EQ equivalent. Closest would be Shaman or Bard or FF's Red Mage? Swashbuckler with good speed and dexterity stats, but also casts support spells. Yes, I'm still waiting on that pirate board RPG to play out from four years ago. Dinobot - Wizard. Just lots and lots of fire. Sorry, but you're a wizard. I'm not having a Pyro on a team of 6. This isn't Highlander. Nio / Wigs - Bard. Keeps the party buffed and spirits high and you'll always want to be aroudn them because they just make you feel better with their constant songs.

Aw yeah, thank you GMUNNY. You'd probably be on my 2006 team now that I'm recalling BE2. Not completely sure of class... Magician most likely. Add Ryokles the Ryouka who uses floating earrings and sexy sarcastic wit to slash foes in half and Smurf the Monk.
BE2 Team Mana - Druid Pikaness - Shadowknight Ryokles - Rogue GMUN - Magician Smurf - Monk and sixth... agesboy/Cyclo/Raytan/Amy/chocobo in a much needed healing role.
I tried making a party once - got like 30 people to sign up, then none of them came to my place to go adventuring. Fat chance if I try it with you guys again!

Ashethan Class: Knight The dashing Knight who fights with a Gunblade, because let's face it. Gunblades are ****ing awesome. He's also bitingly sarcastic at times.
ZenOfThunder Class: Ninja The Awesome and hilarious Ninja. Also brings his pet GIANT TURTLE with him. Because he's cool like that. Also has backup dancers. Who are bards. Who do nothing, but dance all the time. Also has a robot that suspiciously looks like HK-47 mixed with Legion. Man he has a lot of stuff.
We have a Giant Turtle, and a sweet Robot, and two backupdancers. That makes up our party of 6. People wishing to apply however as backupdancers, Giant Turtles, and Awesome Robots are free to do so.
