There would be far more topics on the front page I would have to think about entering. I've learned to simply ignore almost all of the contest stuff I see here now.

I don't even realize contests exist most of the time, I just naturally filter those topics out unless a super interesting topic catches my eye like Game of Thrones or something.

True, I automatically ignore any contest topic except for a few that stand out for various reasons.
