I'm not a big fan of tower defense games, but Orcs Must Die! is incredibly fun to play, probably because it blends third person shooter/action in with the genre so well. But it's not just that-- the traps that you use are also just incredibly fun to play around with.

RE4 is the first third person shooter game I ever played and also the first horror game I ever played.

Worth it.

I usually dislike FPS games, but I love Half-Life 2 (but I mean it's Valve, how could you not like their games).

Also I don't care much for RPGs like Final Fantasy, but I do love FFVII and I enjoyed FFX.
