Really isn't fair to list, because while it certainly has an argument for weakest Mario platformer, you said "otherwise good," and Sunshine is certainly still a great game in its own right.

It's okay, but it's definitely the weakest platformer in the series. I've never played SMG2, but I've only heard good things about it.

So wrong. I'm hoping you're one of the people that gave up before getting to the first gate, because once DW VII picks up it is fantastic. I and II are definitely the weakest games in the series.

Also, I definitely enjoyed Sunshine, and the GBA remake of FF II was pretty fun (though of course not on par with the best of the series).

It was just so ****ing lazy! Most of the puzzles felt recycled from older, better games, the graphics were outdated, and there was very little original music. Most of it was just remixes of old stuff.

If Squeak Squad didn't exist, you'd be able to make a great case for Kirby being the most consistent platformer series out there. But... man, that one was a 4/10 at the very best. And even that seems generous.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

You'd have a point at "Recycled puzzles/music = bad game" if the puzzles and music were originally bad to begin with, but they aren't. At all.

4/10 at most what.
