I like most of the VAs in the game. For some reason the Female Witch Doctor didn't do much for me though. I love the Male Witch Doctor in all his cheesy stereotypical goodness though.

Female Wizard > Male Witch Doctor > Male Monk > Female DH > Male Barbarian > Female Monk >> Male DH > Male Wizard > Female Witch Doctor > Female Barbarian

Uhh, everyone knows the hackers are chinese, they always have been. They are chinese gold farmers. Instead of actually farming gold they hack players, steal all their stuff, and sell it to other players. That's what they do. They've been doing it for years and it's 100% expected for them to do it in Diablo 3 players too. It's just not a good idea for the company to outright say "the chinese did it".

Not sure what you are talking about "putting blame on the player" for.

Revenge is fine where it is, since Getting attacked in Inferno is not good for you.

Maybe in Inferno yeah. Even in Hell though, With Revenge, I can pretty much not die ever. It's like, they took Axe's skill from Dota (I didn't play WC3 really so I can't make the comparison) and they attached a lifesteal to it. So damn amazing.

And I swear it activates more often when I'm lower on health. I think it's supposed to be a 15% activation no matter what, but it always seem to show up when I'm low on hp. I notice this even when 1 enemy is hitting me.

I'm totally up for starting a new character. Just finished Normal on my Wizard, and while it's strangely fun to replay the game again in Nightmare, a new character seems fun too.

Yeah, the CD is high. At level 60 though, you the last rune you get for the Barb is to reduce the CD on the 3 big skills by half...or make them last longer, I forget. The big 3 being Earthquake, Call of the Ancients, and the Berserker (oh god I hope that's right) skill.

Oh wow. If anyone is in the late 40's like I am, make sure to check the auction house for weapons with the reduced level cap from 51-60. I got a great deal on a Crossbow that severely increases my damage.

I will get home from work in two hours if you want someone to start up a new game with. azuarc#1117 if you missed it earlier. My only real character so far is a demon hunter.


And boo to the smokescreen nerf. If demon hunters could sit invulnerable, ok, great, change something. However, that particular fix was out-of-line. Previously, smoke screen was good for:
A) Shooting at stuff unharmed
B) Buying a couple seconds to re-establish your combat position.
C) Breaking CC effects like Frozen and Jailer.

Now it's only good for C. Unfortunately, because defensive skills in this game are so sorely lacking, I still have it on my bar specifically to avoid getting clobbered by a jailer. Seriously, what else am I supposed to do with ONE second of relative invulnerability? I would rune it with something other than the lol-one-point-five-second rune, but the others provide benefits per second SS is active, and are inconsequential now considering they were balanced around a smoke screen of like four seconds rather than the two the game even went live with.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna be making a Demon Hunter - what are the accepted best skills for them as of now?

Indeed. And considering it isn't all available initially, be content using Hungering Shot and Rapid Fire for a while. At low levels, Rapid Fire is amazing. I would argue that's only until you get a legit RMB skill, but it's still great for clearing packs in the cathedral.

"Big hit" in Inferno basically means "any time anyone pokes me". It feels pretty marginal use at its current cost. It'd probably be more viable at 10-12 discipline instead.

You don't actually TAKE hits under Smoke Screen. You become untargetable, and thus the only thing that hurts you is environmental damage. As soon as you become untargetable, the enemy will shift to someone else...at least until you blip back one second later. If you could legitimately take a hit for someone else, then yes, maybe.

Unfortunately the degree to which damage ramps out outpaces health increases, so eventually every hit is big or perhaps even singularly lethal.


Also, I didn't use it to do lol-I'm-invisible damage. I used it to get out of bad situations, which it isn't even viable for at one second. Better off using Vault, which is kinda sad considering Vault has a delayed activation.
