Best Bundle yet? Shame I have all but two of them, and I can get Limbo some other time. It also includes the soundtracks and while I can't speak about the rest of them, the soundtrack of Bastion is amazing.

I'm but a simple companion in the pack of gurus whereof SuperNiceDog is the pack leader!
I own all of them already. I usually like to support these things but I can't justify it, unless maybe there's a bonus game later I don't already own that's worth the few bucks.
I own all of these (and in the case of Psychnauts, I own it twice) but I'll chip in $5 for S&S on PC.

This is super annoying. Bought the bundle about 40 minutes ago, haven't received the bundle, and since I bought it the average has gone over what I paid in the last 10 minutes or so. To make things worse Bastion is the only game I don't have. F*** Humble Bundle if I don't get Bastion.

Yeah, they usually have troubles e-mailing people at the start. There should be a link back to your humble bundle page after you pay, though. How did you pay?

Hmmm...it's a shame Bastion has to be the bonus game, as it essentially means that it costs over 7 bucks. However, it'll probably go for 2.50 on Steam soon so I guess I'll just pay one cent for the others and wait.

Damn, that is an AMAZING bundle. Too bad I own the entire thing already except for Superbrothers. Anybody who doesn't have any two of the rest of this bundle would do well to buy it. >_>
Honestly, if you're only paying a cent you're doing worse than pirating off them, cause it costs them money. Anyways, hell yes this bundle. I've had my eyes in Bastion and Psychonauts, and my dad had his eyes on Limbo, so this is pretty amazing.
If you pay a cent knowing you're costing them more money than if you pirated the stuff you are absolute scum.
Why? I don't pirate because I care about the law and property rights like all good citizens should. If developers are going to be silly and give their stuff away though, I'm going to take advantage of it. If it's so horrible to only pay a few cents for something, maybe they should, I dunno, charge more than a few cents.

When a law is justly created and is not manifestly unjust itself, following the law is a moral imperative. There is no equivalent moral demand that one pay a lot for something given away for free.

IIRC, there is a minimum $.35 charge to process a transaction typically. So, simple math says that they would lose 34 cents from someone paying 1 cent.
Not illegal. Just not something I would call fair. At least paying $1 would cover their expenses, considering that they have to run a server and such as well.

There's always hope for better things in life. But you can't let anything, friend, lover, God himself, be your hope. You have to be your own hope.

That's debatable and you know it. You're in that debate right now!
I think what the majority thinks is pretty clear at this point. I don't see how this is much more different than other pay what you want things. I remember "free" gift wrapping things back when I had a Borders, run by people trying to raise donations for a school trip or something. Sure, I could just give them 1 cent or even nothing. They would lose money from giving me the wrapping paper, tape, the service (wrapping my stuff instead of someone else who would pay), etc. That's legal. I gave them a few dollars, though, so they have a profit for their fundraiser. It's worth the cost to me, and it's the right thing to do. It's not too much different for the Humble Bundle, is it?
