You post what you think that could be the top 20 for this list (let's do it without an order for now). Scoring works like this:
Every chosen pokémon that ends up in the top 20 is worth 20 pts. For every other person that lists the same pokémon in his/her top 20, the 20 pts. are halved by the number of people who listed it. Prizes are involved! (No, it's not money, IDK what it could be yet).
As I was looking through it, it dawned on me how few Pokemon I knew you really liked. Maybe I should've added Durant, as "I know he at least like this one somewhat" is better than "I have no idea how he feels about this Pokemon". I just didn't think you liked it that much.

There are some I'd see higher and some I'd see lower (I'm sure you know which ones), but I suppose it's not awful.
Oh, that's actually a question. Well Glalie, Gyarados, Feraligatr, Camerupt, Metagross, Lucario, and Stoutland would certainly still be in it. Serperior, Gothitelle, and Jynx would've been long gone. Those are actually the only three I particularly dislike that are left. I also wouldn't have even accepted MissingNo. as an entrant. >_>
I dunno.
They're 'k I guess.

I used this guy in my NU teams back in the RSE days, as a Heal Beller of sorts, so I have a soft spot for it and its cute derpface. Granted, it couldn't even start accomplishing that compared to, say, Chansey, but I'm trying to imagine the face of my opponent when LICKITUNG of all things showed up on the screen.
I was a bit sad when Jessie accidentally traded it with Wobbuffet in the anime, but hey Wobbuffett is at least as cool.
I know that it needed an evolution badly, but that still doesn't justify DUM PINK BALL WEARING A BIB's existence, especially since it still sucks almost as hard as before.

They tended to kind of do a "lol make it fat" with the Gen 4 new evolutions. They should have just made Lickilicky's tongue wrap around an otherwise Lickitung or something.
I can remember a few things from that giant save my Pokemon over a year back, like some of your favorites and the kind of Pokemon you generally like. My list is pretty generic, though. No real wildcards.

Within me, I've always had a heated debate with myself trying to decide which one between Wartortle and Blastoise I liked more.
I think I have the answer now: I like Blastoise a very little slightly tiny bit more, but both are so awesome, it doesn't really matter (Oh, another line where I love everyone that I forgot to mention).
As for Wartortle, I love its design: the ears, the fluffy tail, the face... I don't like the fact that it is slightly more "tanned" than Squirtle, but I understand that it would've just been a Squirtle with more stuff added otherwise. I'm not too fond of the "voice" it has in the anime too, but whatever, minor complaints.
I'll go as far as saying that, design-wise, I like it even as much as Squirtle and the things that really make me like Squirtle much more are mostly connected to media exposition and cuteness.
Something more that I noticed about Wartortle is that, IMO, the sprites never really made it justice. Until B/W, its in-game sprites never really conveyed all of its coolness for some reason, sometimes I wonder if they made it look "bad" on purpose. It's the total opposite of Wangrovyle, who looks cool in sprites but is actually pretty gross in other renditions *throws rock, hides hand*.

#49 - KINGDRA Nominated by: Kamekguy WHAT pic: ("OH PLEASE SNORLAX DON'T STOP YOU'RE SO BIG AND STRONG AND UUUUH")
Oh right, this is ANOTHER line where I like everyone a lot. Seahorses are among the coolest sea animals, and all three members don't fail to live up to that standard.
Kingdra specifically, back in the GSC days, was basically a pokémon with no weaknesses, since all the Dragon moves up until then were LOL and there was hardly ever a reason to teach them to your pokémon. Things changed from Gen III and onwards, for the worse IMO, but that's another story.
Something that I like about Kingdra is how much its design was "dignified" compared to Horsea/Seadra, it looks legendary and majestic. Not to mention how powerful it sounds now: it can create Whirlpools by just yawning.
It's basically as if everytime I read a topic about alphas and betas on this board I created a tornado. Big change from the wimpy-looking Horsea, isn't it?
I only wish that it had stayed the "jack of all trades, master of none" it was in GSC, instead of becoming the umpteenth Dragon Dancer.

Has it ever happened to you that you got to love a pokémon (almost) solely for a move that it could use?
It happened to me with Armaldo. I was having trouble with Substitutes at the time, and I was trying to think of something that would counter them. The answer that I came up with was ROCK BLAST. After checking who could learn it, I noticed Armaldo, whom I had never even considered before and I barely even knew that it existed.
ROCK BLAST is now easily my favorite Rock move: finally a multi-hit move that didn't suck AND could abuse some sweet STAB. I owe it all to Armaldo, I couldn't have a better partner in my quest to crush Suckstitutes.
After that, I started realizing all the other amazing things about it, especially its versatility and its design. I know that its face is a bit dumb, but retractile claws are a flawless victory on their own. I mean, a second before it has no arms and then it goes all "Oh look I stabbed you to death and you didn't even notice!". That definitely cuts off the predictability issues that Creepbutops has.
It also made me discover these, which are apparently where they took the inspiration for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantis_shrimp I didn't even know that these things existed. Sea animals are the best, they never cease to amaze and fascinate me.
Last but not least, another pokémon with an A+ shiny form:
-- SuperNiceDog won the Guru contest super nicely!
Called "sea locusts" by ancient Assyrians, "prawn killers" in Australia and now sometimes referred to as "thumb splitters" because of the animal's ability to inflict painful gashes if handled incautiously mantis shrimp sport powerful claws that they use to attack and kill prey by spearing, stunning or dismemberment. Although it happens rarely, some larger species of mantis shrimp are capable of breaking through aquarium glass with a single strike from this weapon.
SHOULD BE IN TOP 20 Abomasnow Ampharos Articuno Beedrill Cacturne Chandelure Charizard Durant Electabuzz Empoleon Gengar Jolteon Misdreavus Mismagius Ninetales Scyther Serperior Umbreon Vulpix Xatu
I can't comprehend how anyone would like something as bland as Carracosta over Archeops honestly. Everything about Archeops is just much more unique: ability, stats, design (No but seriously, we didn't need another turtle), even the typing has been used fewer times. Oh well.
Anyway, Defeatist is easily Archeops' most interesting trick. Itemless Acrobatics from this guy at full HP is PAINFUL, put this guy as your starter and you can pretty much be sure that someone in the opponent's team will take a good chunk of damage, as long as you make a good guess.
Now, I think that I should love Archeops even more, but there's just something "off" about it, I can't say what exactly. I probably have to get used a bit more to the "snake head popping out of yellow body" thing. Don't get me wrong though, I love it overall, probably my favorite fossil yet.
Something a bit disappointing is that, for someone with so much color, Archeops' shiny form sure is lame. I mean, most of the time I wouldn't recognize it from the normal version if I wasn't paying attention.
They basically just switched the blue parts with the green parts and called it a day. Lazy.

#46 - TOGEKISS Nominated by: GenesisSaga Awesome pic: (Man, it'd be even better if it looked more like this!).
Apparently, I tricked you into thinking that I am a huge huge fan of Togekiss. Well I... am, but not to the point of ranking it in my top 20 (It isn't even in my top 100 overall!). Togetic is my favorite Toge and it still wouldn't make the top 20 with this list so...
Actually, I used to absolutely hate Togekiss, because it had evolved one of my favorite pokémon to use. I know, most of you guys think that Togetic is horrendous and all that jazz, but I've actually used it with a decent degree of success as an annoyer back when the metagame wasn't so polarized towards offensive play.
Togetic might not pack a punch, but it has a whole arsenal of annoying moves th- oh this is about Togekiss. SO, I used to hate Togekiss; that changed when I saw it in the anime and not only was it absolutely adorable, but I also discovered that it learned Aura Sphere, which is an awesome move. I thought: "Incredible! And it didn't even need to appear in pokémon porn to obtain it!".
In the end, I (mostly) managed to cope with my overall Gen IV evolutions hate, but most of them couldn't do as much for me as Togekiss did. It looks like a giant kite of awesome and is such a sweetie.

Blobbity-blob Reuniclus, he's so cute until you think of it as a fetus into amniotic fluid or as cell organs enveloped by the cytoplasm. Those don't necessarily fall under my definition of cute.
I like to think of it just as a cute creature kept together by a sticky substance or something.
I don't have much to say about its looks, I think it's one of those pokémon that you either like or don't. Some people go "eeewww goo ball" and other go "JELLY BLOB AWESOME!". I belong to the second team.
I haven't faced many Reunicluses in my short experience with Pokémon Online, but Magic Guard is an excellent ability to have at hand. I mean even if it wasn't a Psychic type, how would you even harm with indirect damage a bouncy blobby slobby thing.
Even though I prefer the goths, I could see why anyone would prefer Jelly Relly instead.
-- SuperNiceDog won the Guru contest super nicely!
I don't usually, but Togetic totally looks like a middie now.
Whatevs, neeext:
45 - It's a female-looking pokémon (this is actually a good hint, there are like 4 or 5 still in right?) 44 - It sets up Torkoal's failure in one of Ash's Ever Grande Conference's matches. (Be thankful that I added when, imagine having to seek through all of Torkoal's failures). 43 - It lacks an option for when it gets windy in a desert.
