Yeah. Those banners have Legend Materia relics, which are, let's say, of questionable value.
If you get one of those for a character whom you don't have a relic for, it's pretty much useless, but I suppose they can be nice if you already have other relics for those characters.

Probably because it's more recent and they want to promote it, not like it matter anyway since it's a Japan only game and we probably aren't going to get that event anyway unless they do surprise localisation around the time we get that event.

Also Cid Raines burst banner tonight, last hurdle to save Mythril for the Second Anniversary, but damn is it a hard one to pass. They had to rub it in since Cid Raines is the next raid boss as well.

I think they're going to give us 100+ as part of the anniversary (sure I remember seeing this somewhere) but yeah I'm in the same boat as you (85 mythril). Granted I can muster another 50 if I stop being lazy about clearing dungeons I didn't get any of my weekend bonus mythril either so hopefully I'll get that too when they fix it

I'm sure at least 2 of the banners will be junk so that lowers it by 100. Then we have whatever we get between now and the anniversary. Plus orbfest.

Aren't the daily dungeons going to refresh as well after the next maintenance? At least that's what people are saying about getting more mythril for the second anniversary.

There's also supposed to be a dungeon that gives 50 mythril around the same time.

Got Noel's Howling Soul SSB and Lightning's Goddamn Flamberge that only has a regular SB.

I immediately regret my decision.

Though I must say, one thing I absolutely love about Record Keeper is that when you see a Rainbow Disco Ball you know EXACTLY what it's going to be since there are no off-banner for that. Well that is until they start adding more than 1 O/USB on a banner, but at least you know you won't get trolled by those.

Ultimates mastered

Behemoth King was pretty easy, used Vaan, Ramza, Snow, Y'shtola and Tyro. Didn't bring shellga since he only uses a few sparse magic attacks and Gaia's Cross on Snow with Fires Within neutered his physicals. Vaan's burst dulled his magic and it was straightforward from there.

Used a mage team on the gauntlet of Hope, Serah, Alphinaud + Y&T (for the wind weakness, I would have brought Papalymo otherwise) First two were easy but Garuda hit pretty hard, but I had 2 and half bars on Alph at that point and just using his Burst 3 times did enough damage to kill it. Ley Lines RW is so good through, wish I had more Major Black Orbs to hone it and use it more often through.

Bahamut and Hecatoncheir were pretty annoying, but not too bad. Used Ramza, Orlandeau and Beatrix + Y&T, Orlandeau did Gaia's cross to soak up the physical attacks, Beatrix healed and shellga'd, and when she got enough meter to do her burst I let Orlandeau loose with his burst and make short work of them. I took a risk bringing a Snow Burst RW, didn't do too much damage unfortunately, but the last stand saved Orlandeau from dying to Bahamut's Inferno. Thankfully Bahamut only used Rush twice and only paralyzed Tyro, but it did leave me without wall for a few turns, good thing Asylum was up at that point. Tyro was paralyzed for a pretty long time so I can see how Rush could screw you over.

You guys think I should switch my RW to Vanille's USSB? I've been mostly sticking with her BSB, but I dunno which one is more useful. The latter is instant cast and makes their White Mage a deadly force if needed, but a USSB is still a USSB

i'd say switch. this seems to serve better as a RW, unlike a BSB heal which most people would just bring natively. plus it's gonna be less common, and as of now has a completely unique effect.

So apparently they made the FF XIII Evil Lantern Thrown event weapon into... an FFX Blitzball weapon. They did not have the foresight to auto remove this weapon causing errors to people who had it equipped.
