3 parts doesn't sound like it would be long enough for Heaven's Feel unless they were like 3 hour movies. I'd probably only watch the first two parts of it anyways though since I don't like the end stuff of the route

S1 is 10+OVA (OVA being anime-original material too), not 11

I'm pretty sure it was done like that to make each season adapt two volumes cleanly, but even then things were cut (especially from s1) so I don't know LOL

I assume it's to do with Deen being incompetent, but who knows.

i recommended some shows to my friend who is super casual and hasn't seen a lot. in turn, he told me to watch Himouto Umaru-chan. i watched the first ep and thought it was kind of shit and normally would have dropped it right there. but i decided whatever let's just give it another episode. nine minutes into ep 2 and i feel justified in predicting this show will do nothing for me.

just wanted to ask around to see if anybody else knew about this show and confirm that i'm not missing out on anything good only because i know the guy irl and want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

it's cute maybe like, 10% of the time and annoying at least 60%.

main problems with it for me:

the girl is constantly described as "hot" by all the characters (including her brother) but the character design is not notable at all for me so i can't buy into it and there's even less of a reason to look past her shit.

even if she was hot it wouldn't matter because she shrinks into that chibi form for most of the scenes and she's a little shit. i feel like i'm watching only the professor from Nichijou but way worse.

The first episode garnered a lot of meme support, but literally NOBODY was talking about it after that. To this day the only time it's brought up is via GIFs from episode 1.

Gabriel Dropout's kinda like a good version of Umaru? The MCs are kinda similar, but there's no dumb chibi shit and the supporting cast is fantastic.

And, uh.....hopefully some other stuff. Pulling for Re:CREATORS, Sagrada Reset, and the new White Fox show, but there are....6 sequels I'll be watching I think?

I'm going to try out the White Fox show and Tsuki ga Kirei. The last one's a bit of a gamble, but the synopsis makes it seem like my kind of show, and the director has done some solid stuff before.

Also for sequels I'm watching Eccentric Family season 2. Also Saekano if I can, though I'm pretty sure that was Amazon only or something.
