ChaosTonyV4 03/13/17 9:41:40 PM #1:	Putting aside the obvious factors of loving my wife and marriage: I'm currently in the process of secretly buying her a car, and I don't think I was convincing with my answers to the "where have you been?" and "why were you gone so long?" questions. At one point, I swear she looked at me with narrowed eyes, and I asked her "why are you looking at me like that?" and she was all "Like what? Paranoid?!" As for how old a car you want, that's really not as important as mileage and use. I've sold 1999 cars that only had 23,000 miles of them that I would trust more than my current higher mileage newer cars I drive. And I especially trust cars that aren't based out of states that get heavy snowfall cause they have significantly less rust (rusty brake-lines are the most dangerous). Keep in mind, though, you asking a guy who's never bought a used/new car before in his life. I just fix and sell them.
