So far my plans on this are to have it be 3 matches a day for Round 1. I have not decided if I'm going to keep it to 3 matches past Round 1 or not. I'll wait and see if it seems like that's too fast or too slow for now.

Sorry, seeding was completely random. With most things only getting 1-2 Nominations there was no way for me to guess what was going to be the most and least popular in order to do proper seeding. =/

It should still be a fun matchup. There are a number I would rank over them so I'm alright with it being a r2 battle.

Overall, I'd say we've got a pretty fair representation of channels to look at. A few glaring omissions, but that's the way it goes. Should be a good time!

Forgot one thing to mention because I'm sure this will come up at some point.

For Round 1, the entrants that appear in the topic title will be based on each channels popularity on youtube. For Round 2 onward I will try to decide who to put in the topic title based on that + how well they are doing in the contest.

I think he could use a few sounds beyond 'Bah', and if you were to listen to him en masse, it would surely get old fast, but he's got a schtick and has stuck to it, and it is a pretty neat one all things considered.Toss in a cat and a beard and you've got a clear recipe for viral youtube.

I'd say he's a little overrated, but he's not well loved for nothing.

Sure, but he does nothing creative with the arrangements. At least good a capella groups will mix it up and give you something you don't get from the original version (aside from simply transplanting the parts into vocals).

Probably no big surprises here. The first match was a match where I wish both had lost. The second match was a throwaway match, and the 3rd match was basically a guy with 1 amazing video and nothing else I even care for vs a guy with plenty of decent to good videos. So all in all, can't say I'm disappointed with the results.

Shame that bill wurtz lost, but he was very much a one hit wonder with additional content that was highly love-it-or-hate-it depending on taste. TieTuesday, on the other hand, fully deserved the win and I expect him to go reasonably far.

Today is kinda meh, but it does have Honest Trailers which rarely disappoint.

I'm a bit disappointed by skippy being out, but I'm also not really surprised given what his opponent was. Skippy is a new channel I found thanks to this contest that I will probably check back on from time to time. Also, a huge surprise in the second match given how people were talking about dunkey in the nominations topic. It might be due to low votals that he's out already, but I'd also say that he had a pretty strong Round 1 opponent, so it could have really gone either way. For the last match....one of them wasn't SGTreport.

No close matches here. The first match was the first time what I voted for didn't win, but even then I didn't care too much for either channel. The second match had CinemaSins which believe it or not I had never heard of before this contest, and they're the first new channel I will be subbing so far. The other channel seemed like it wasn't too bad but they just didn't play enough that interested me for me to really care about them. As for the third match, I don't get why Daxflame got 4 votes. I mean, I guess some people might like that kind of thing but for me this was one of the worst entries so far in this contest.

I'm a bit disappointed by the first match. This is the first match I really don't like the result of, but at the same time I can't say I'm surprised. While pannenkoek has some great stuff it's clearly all about the same kind of thing, so if that isn't your thing you probably won't care that much for it. I honestly thought the second match would be closer. I mean, I know Bad Lip Reading would win but I thought people cared about the other one too, or at least that's how it seemed during nominations. As for the third match, I did think this one would be quite 1 sided, so Little Kuriboh getting 4 votes against him kinda surprises me. So all in all, no surprises, but sad to see pannenkoek go.

So it appears we have our first tie of the contest. Well I'll wait until that match is decided to talk about it. As for the 2nd match, a lot of people didn't really seem to care about this match, so whoever it's opponent is in Round 2 will probably win fairly easily. The third match though kinda saddens me because I didn't want either to lose. I feel like both are great channels if you like the kind of thing they have to offer.

So the Star Wars vote is pretty strong here, or maybe Dash Star is just that good. Either way, I thought the first match was going to be more one sided than it was. The second match was just another one of those "WTF" matches where it feels like how did these 2 get paired up together. However when that does happen unfortunately one of them has to win. The third match was extremely one sided and it's no surprise because I feel like Ten Second Songs is one of the most unique music channels if not the most that made it into the contest.

For the Tie Breaker, after going even 8 to 8 I really thought it would be close again. Honestly I feel like this was the complete opposite of the 2nd match in that I feel both of these channels deserved to make Round 2 because both of them are really good. Did You Know Gaming has long sense been a channel I kept tabs on, and now I have one more to check from time to time.

I am saddened by the first match. It is the first real disappointment I've had this contest. I love comics and I didn't think the other channel was funny at all. However, it appears that I'm in the minority on this so my first nomination is gone. The second match really could have gone either way depending on how much anti-vote JonTron was going to get. I didn't even know about the controversy until someone mentioned it in the topic. As for the 3rd match....I don't even feel like talking about it. One of them won, the other one lost.
