CAST IT! involves the idea that a live action movie is being produced based on a comic/show/game/etc. Casting actors to play the major characters in the film.

Rules:

Each of the specified characters must be cast. Whatever actor gets the most votes for each will be the winner. Ties will be determined by whichever got the votes first. Topics will end when there is a decent amount of votes (ideally 24-48 hours, assuming it succeeds). Characters aside from the ones listed may also be cast if there are multiple votes for them, but the ones listed must be.

Yeah, I can kind of see what you mean, though I'd hesitate to call Gary smooth based on my memory of him

I'm just not sure how Jojen would pull off the despicable rival thing. I feel like Gary would be someone audiences would want to actively root against, which is what makes me think Joffrey. I could see Tom Felton filling the same role like 5-10 years ago

Currently have clear leaders for James and Giovanni, as well as slight leaders for Misty, Brock, Ash, and Oak. No consensus on the Director, Jessie or Gary.

As far as the optional cast, Lt. Surge, Erika, Blaine, Agatha, Nurse Joy and Meowth all have the bare minimum to be locked in as supporting cast (though the actors can still change).

Probably give this around 2 more days? I like to have enough time for discussion and for anyone who wants to to participate. At the very least need to get some sort of consensus on Jessie and Gary

She's probably most famous for playing that assistant in Jurassic World who gets brutally and unnecessarily slaughtered.

She's also plays Morgana Pendragon in Merlin and Lena Luthor in Supergirl, I think she would bring a good intensity to the Sabrina role.

I opened it up to GnT too, but so far all I've gotten there is a nomination for Gotfried as Meowth. I decided to go ahead and throw a vote behind Brad Bird (Chow would be better for a more over-the-top anime adaptation I think) and McGrath (after watching clips of her I can see her for the role). That leaves Jessie, Gary and Brock as the biggest areas for contention (though any of the other leads could easily change too).
