So if I have one major issue above all others in this expansion, it has to be the lack of interactivity.

Quests combined with Exodia mage just give me the frustrating feeling of "I can do absolutely nothing about this., if he gets those cards, I just lose the game and that's all there is to it." Exodia mage is just freeze mage reborn.

Hard to argue with that. Quests are decidedly non-interactive, and turn the game into an explicit race in many cases.

Honestly I think regular Freeze Mage is just better

Played a little bit of it. Turns out Ice Lance isn't core much like Conceal isn't core for Miracle! (Plus Arcanologist and Primordial Glyph are extremely good and Taunt Warrior is just a curve deck instead of looking to armor up like crazy every turn)

Seems good. I think the only real bad spot is that if you mimic pod into something terrible it can basically lose you the game.

We all know you think it's bad, we've heard you the first six dozen times. Blizzard is trash, game is trash, RNG is trash, okay, sure. What are you accomplishing by:

a) continuing to play this game
b) continuing to let us all know how much you hate this game

Death by a million paper cuts. Blizzard will eventually aollapse once enough people realize they and their games are all shit. There is no rule saying that they always have to be popular.

Remember, baseball used to be America's pastime. Hearthstone will eventually piss off too many people and everyone will leave to better games.

The game is always varying degrees of unplayable, but in a meta where Taunt minions are even more overpowered than usual it's specially unplayable. You literally cannot play any form of aggro or minion based decks in this game.

Just checked out the meta snapshot. And while I find quest rogue and pirate warrior to both need nerfs the most (taunt warrior and miracle rogue are fine imo), overall I was thinking to myself the past couple days just how fairly well balanced this expansion is among all the classes. Even Elemental Shaman I think should be tier 2.

Quest Warrior has been a lot of fun. I've played around 5 games with it so far at Rank 10 with one loss, but it feels like I've been in a losing position in every game I've played with it. I never got to experience piloting Control Warrior, so maybe that's just how it feels, but every game seems like I'm barely holding on until I eventually out resource the opponent and take control of the board in the mid to late game.

I probably just described what playing control is, but I'm so used to just curving out (which this deck still does), so it feels like a new experience.

Or maybe I'm just bad and it shouldn't feel like that!

I played some Zoo for (gold) quests and I am so upset that PO is gone. As a diehard zoo player it just makes me sad. It was probably too good with Dark Peddler (I know I've had games where I've just surprise won with 3 POs in hand), and still probably very good without, but man. It feels like I'm playing Zoo while missing a finger or something. It's healthy for Standard though! I'll admit that.

I also crafted the Warrior quest to get some quests done as well. I think my next big decision for my dust is whether to commit to Taunt Warrior or Midrange Hunter. Missing a lot of epics for them since appparently Sleep With the Fishes + Primordial Drake is meta in Warrior now and same for Rat Pack in Hunter.

I have enough dust for both but I still wanna craft sick legendaries. delete epics imo

Playing an Elly Shaman, seven or eight turns into the game when it was clear what I was playing a Priest whiffed on a Curious Glimmerroot. Hasn't accepted my friend request so I can't ask him what the choices/pick were. Don't think I've seen that card miss before.

Just had a game where I got a turn 4 crystal core.
Also had a game where I got a piranha launcher with swarshburgler from a hunter. Lmfao good times. now we know why it's not a rogue card.

So I built FFD's version of hunter but with Leeroy thrown in. I enjoy hunter.

I have seen NOTHING but Taunt Warrior and Taunt Priest, two decks that exploit a terribly designed mechanic. How anyone at Blizzard thought Taunt being permanent instead of a one-off ability, or how anyone so stupid could ever get hired for any job, is beyond me. Like I've met these people and know how stupid they are, and I still can't actually process how stupid they are or how any of these shit mechanics ever made it int a video game. Taunt is in no way balanced, fair, or properly tested. Only a braindead fucking idiot would ever say otherwise.

Classic Control Warrior is much the same way outside of the control matchup. Taunt Warrior has less removal and more threats, but both decks are just trying to stall with filler cards and removal until the wincon. Taunts just curve better.

I've written off the matchup as Zoo and Hunter and it definitely does feel more annoying to play against if they pull off their endless taunt chain. It doesn't seem horribly oppressive though.

I have played against nothing but Taunt bullshit every time I've played hunter this month. They play 3 Taunt minions and it shuts down the entire deck.

It has always been a terrible mechanic, and thankfully the new meta is proving it. This game will always be trash, but it's in the worst state I've ever seen it when Taunt meta is a thing.

Shocker, I play jade druid three times in a row and see nothing but OTK freeze mage.

Then people wonder why I hate this game. Imagine playing against literally but counterpicks, bad mechanics, and shitty RNG. I get good RNG maybe twice per 100 games.

Counterpicks are extremely annoying, but aren't Taunt Warrior and Freeze Mage two of the most prevalent decks on ladder right now?

I generally switch between ladder and casual if I'm on a losing streak. It never ever makes a difference. It isn't "continually" counterpicked. It is literally every game.

I guarantee you if I build Exodia Mage I'll just get killed by rogue every turn 5.

I crystal cored on turn 5 due to mimic podding shadowstep right after I drew back to back boars. I still somehow almost lost.

Turn 5 is the norm for quest rogue.

I really wish there was a casual mode that wasn't tryhard mode. God it's so absolutely miserable trying to finish quests for classes you don't want to play against nothing but an endless stream of tier 1 decks.
