Nearly 35% of Americans live in one of these four states. Which one is the best iyo?

Expecting Cali to win but we'll see.

My whole life I loved Cali, visited often because my family is from there, but as an adult the property prices are too damn high.

<_<

I voted Florida. These white sand beaches tho

I've lived in Texas my entire life so I might be more than a bit biased on the issue

But it's pretty good as long as you stay in the major metro areas (Dallas/Austin/Houston)

Go outside those areas and all bets are off

I think I'd actually be more comfortable in one of these cities than I would be in NYC (just not my style), but climate-wise it's kind of eh for me, California's more oceanic which is nice

This can be an issue if you hate the heat, though the past year has been very reasonable all-around. On the bright side, it very rarely drops below 20 degrees even in the dead of winter

Houston is right on the Gulf though, which may appeal to people like you.

I feel the same, though not with much evidence. My sister spent some time in NYC and has lived in DC for a few years (after spending her entire life in Cali), and she says life on the east coast is notably faster, less laid back, and the people there are more judgmental. Don't think I can ever be a "New York guy."

Literally anywhere is better than Florida

I live in NY so I picked NY but not with as much of a gap as one might think. California is really nice from when I went there years ago. Texas I'm fairly ambivalent towards, it has some cool places but at the same time it has a lot of dumb southern things
