If you could be any age, how many y/o would you want to be?

You'll have the limitations and responsibilities of however many y/o you are. Just because you could become a 12 y/o kid doesn't mean that you don't have to deal with middle school, hormones, and being too young for GameFAQs and T/M-rated games again. If you want to be some 70 y/o with free time from retirement, your body could be broken down and it would make you yell at the 13 y/o whippersnappers on your damn lawn.

So how many y/o would YOU want to be if you could change your age?

So far, 60% of people want to be in their 20s and 30% want to be 65+ y/o. But there's no discussion here. Come on now, how many y/o are you and how many y/o would you want to be if you could be any y/o?

If I was like 6 I'd be the smartest fucking person. Okay, that's not true. But I'd be smart for a 6 year old. I think younger than that is a little too much.

I voted elementary school, though lately I've been feeling more nostalgia for middle school, even though I know elementary was probably better in just about every way.

High School was eh, college has been five years of really shitty depression and me hating everything about my university and my experience here, I'm nearing "I can't believe I'm an adult," adulthood but it will probably be fine but boring with me living at my parents' house and focusing on my career and having no friends.

Real adulthood could potentially be fun because I have no idea what I'll do. It could just be "I can't believe I'm an adult," part 2 with me continuing to live at my parents' house and being slightly more happy because I'm not doing boring adult shit like other adults. I could move to some middle of nowhere place, buy a house, and work a limited amount of time since I'll have saved up a bunch of money from living with my parents and having a bay area salary for several years, and then spend the rest of my time on hobbies. I might move in with my sister who will have finished law school by then, which could be dope if she's still as awesome of a person as she is now. Best case scenario I somehow have a significant other I'm in love with despite my horrendous social skills/appearance and lack of desire to improve those, I move in with her (or him/them I guess but I prefer women significantly), and finally have a lot of sex after living with parents, we support each other and have similar hobbies and spend time doing them together. I can't foresee myself having kids or any of that. That being said all this aside there's probably some really fucking boring/tedious/awful aspects of being 30+ I'm overlooking here (I could see health problems flaring up around this time in particular).

Late adulthood is probably the same shit except depressing because people will start to pass away and my health will almost certainly get worse.

Senior could secretly be the best part because I theoretically won't have to work. In reality it'll probably suck because of the health problems and death inevitably creeping up on me.

I love when people think turning 30 is a huge moment and your life changes. It doesn't. There is basically no difference other than your age.

So whatever you pick is the age you are for the rest of your life? Or you go back to that age and then continue to age normally? Or stay that age forever, effectively becoming immortal and looking ___?

Got to go down to 24 here. Old enough to not be a dumb teen. Young enough to not be bitter about the young. Also random back and joint pain was not a concern yet.

I still look the same as i did when i was 18 so looks are entirely unconcerning to me here.

This is key.

As it is I voted for mid-late 20s... which is where I actually am. I wouldn't mind being in my early 20s if it meant I could reset some things, though. In terms of aging mid-late 20s is really ideal because you've fully matured but entropy hasn't really started messing with you yet.

I don't understand the wannabe seniors. Why would anyone want an aged, possibly decrepit body if they could choose not to? All that does is make things harder.

If I'm stuck as the age, 30.

If I'm going to age normally, as early as possible while still having enough mental faculties to be me. Start of middle school?

However the voter decides to interpret it. Why not consider responses for all 3?

Some people would love to be 20 y/o in the peak of health forever even though you could still die from something...

Others would love to be an 11 y/o in middle school to change their past decisions to make them better in adulthood...

And some would love to be a 65 y/o, forever being able to get a senior discount until the end of time...
