I loved Cochran the first time in both of his seasons but upon rewatches he's an awful and painfully awkward camera hog in South Pacific and in Caramoan he's mostly boring but occasionally goes back into awful mode when he talks about how he's suddenly this challenge beast when we was mostly winning challenges that didn't require much physical strength.

Oh, I always disliked him through South Pacific even before he turned into a total dumbass and a giant pussy at the merge and completely ruined any chance he had at winning.

I've always liked Cochran. Still do! He's very tongue-in-cheek. It seems most people don't get that.

I only turned on Cochran when he helped ruin Caramoan (the second-worst season ever) with an over-the-top "omg such a amazing player that the fans will love!" edit

i thought cochran was a lot of fun in caramoan!

imo both caramoan and micronesia were saddled with the same problems (the "fans" side sucked and got next-to-no attention). the main "favorites" in micronesia and the gameplay were fun enough to overcome that, while caramoan's weren't. (just generally imo)

So about the edit

So Sarah spending the entire episode saying she wants to keep Zeke and him ultimately going is bad for her right? Or is it good for her from an "overcoming the odds" perspective since she ultimately votes for him? I thought this episode was better for Brad but all his content ends up being hollow with Zeke leaving.

I disagree that the content was ultimately meaningless for Brad. I think his group is getting that "about to overcome the odds" edit, and he's still shown as loyal to his allies unlike Sierra and Sarah.

I also think them showing Debbie being super bitter towards Sarah was calculated. Potentially bitter jury?

Sarah talked about why she should vote for Zeke and why she shouldn't. She presented the arguments of both cases. Whoever thinks that this was bad for her edit is clueless about edgic. Brad is not getting any underdog edit. Whatever he does never works. We have seen it many times. From the episode where he thought that he made an alliance with Aubry and Cirie, to the episode where he leaves Sarah besides to avoid other people strategizing or to his attempt to reel in Zeke. He has failed at everything strategically recently.

Just caught up on TAR. Man, Brooke & Scott are JUST the right amount of freaky-outiness for me to love them. Any more or any less and I would hate them.

they remind me a lot of chris & logan from s27, except chris was the one freaking out in that team

it's been okay, but i'm starting to sour on a lot of the teams. as far as the gimmick goes, it could have been worse, but i still just want regular teams again. (if the show ever comes back.)

I'm halfway through the final 3 of Genius S4. It's taken me like a week since watching the final 4 episode to want to watch this. I don't want the series to end, and the final contestants (particularly F4) have all been stellar.

I wish there was more.

Sadly, all indication seems to be that either this is the last season or they'll do one more All-Star season and then be done (actually the indication is really that this is the last one, people just refuse to believe that they wouldn't end on an all-star season, but then again 12 was originally going to be the final season immediately after all-stars).
