THIS has been a very bland episode. People complained about last week, but THIS is the first episode of the season I'd say is outright boring (if only because I wouldn't find either boot option that shocking.)

Yeah, but look at this episode. On paper, tonight's vote came down to whether Michaela (with Tai) would flip on Andrea or stick with her alliance to boot Sierra. That was all we needed for the story was to have Michaela get burned by the reward challenge and be put in the power position. But not only did Sarah get credit for flipping Michaela back to her alliance, but she got to explain exactly why. Michele's win was very similar. Despite Michele having very little agency or relevance in reality, the edit constantly inflated her worth to make sure she was present and prominent, even when unnecessary.

I still kinda feel like this was a stronger episode for Brad and I don't know why. I don't like Sarah saying Brad's game is over when it isn't.

Tim I'm guessing it's just out of hope, because in my opinion Brad's edit has been getting weaker over the last few episodes as Sarah's has been getting stronger. I mean regardless they are still the only two with any prayer left.

Probably. I'm still not convinced that Sarah's edit isn't so strong right now because she's so relevant right now. She's the one flipping back and forth and getting advantages and stuff and thusly is impossible to ignore. That may not necessarily extend to the endgame. I think it's good for Brad that they're keeping him relevant in the edit even though he's largely irrelevant in the current game.

I agree but to play devil's advocate that could just be because Sarah makes the end (and loses) and Andrea doesn't. I was sure Andrea was going this week because I thought her story with Zeke was one of mutually assured destruction and they would both go back to back.

It bothers me a bit that they keep making sure to show us people getting pissed about Sarah's votes (Debbie flipping her off, Andrea making a face this week when she kind of tried to save face with Sierra). Seems like they're setting up a bitter jury. Meanwhile, they seem to be focusing on making Brad look super loyal to his allies even aboard a sinking ship...and all those allies will be on the jury.
