This is why I call muscle building/toning exercise with the intent to show off muscle definition "male standards of physical fitness". Women don't need that. They just need to not be obese and have clogged arteries and shit. Ironically women getting all toned is what's "sacrificing their well being so you can get your rocks off" because they need a higher bodyfat percentage than men for proper hormonal balance. Toned women still have a higher body fat percentage than toned men, this is a complete strawman. And if you want to go with the biological/evolutionary perspective, humans were naturally more fit than they are today by virtue of their nomadic lifestyle. Trying to argue that physically fit women are less healthy is absurd. You're taking what I said too literally with that first sentence. They don't need to reach a point where it's higher than the male average like that itself is some sort of biological marker. And yeah, obviously people back then weren't drinking gallons of soda and watching hours of TV. They weren't going to be obese. Their tendency to walk more and do more physical work doesn't change what is ideally desired, though. I'm also not saying "physically fit" women are less healthy in any regard other than potentially burning off too much fat in pursuit of definition, which isn't even that unhealthy anyway.
