Do you consider yourself a healthy eater?





Personally, I'm pretty strict with myself when it comes to no sweets: they're only for special occasions.

Voted option 2 as of recent.

I just got a gym membership and started eating nicely to supplement that (would have voted option 3 or 4 before the gym membership). Now, I might have one unhealthy meal a week, usually on the weekend. Might be pizza or Chinese food or something. But in general, I eat well throughout the week.

Mixed bag.

My food choices aren't too bad - they are generally unprocessed meats, rice, vegetables, eggs. I have fast food a couple times a month for convenience, but it's not economical and most of my food choices are driven by budget rather than health - if cans of highly processed beef stew are what's on sale, that's what I eat.

I drink too much Coke and Dr. Pepper, but I'm learning to substitute that with unsweetened green tea. I;ve more or less settled on cold brewing gunpowder green tea.

I used to pound a 32oz mountain dew like 4 out of 5 days a week in high school. So even for me, breaking the habit was pretty hard. But now, even the once a month when I decide to have a soda, I can't even finish it because of how ridiculously sweet it is.

More or less.

I eat fruits and vegetables daily, I pretty much only drink water (and tea). But I do have a sweet tooth, so I do eat sweets pretty often.

That I am. After researching the difference between the ASD (American Standard Diet) and the MD (Mediterranean Diet), I reformed in my ways. I exclude inorganic, processed, and sugary in excess things in exchange for homemade, vegetable rich, and natural sweeteners (ex. honey) to accomplish two effects in my household – Weightloss and Dental Fitness. I plan the meals, I cook them, and keep the grocery shopping in check all in adamance for my kin’s sake. When I had a cephalic affliction, I cure myself by these means to re-live my life unhurt anymore. Nowadays, I evangelize about them to the kin, who like myself had too little nutrition and too much of a sweet-tooth, as a fanatic amusingly.

I lost twenty pounds from 164 to 146 just drinking water and making my own fruit desserts (pizzas), so I am overjoyed.

I am lucky in the sense that I tend to hate the taste of some of the more unhealthy food (sugar, salt, etc.)

That said, most of my unhealthiness tends to come from the fact that I get lazy during the week and tend to not have dinner because I don't want to cook it. So I end up going like 16 hours without eating anything until I have breakfast the next morning.

I went with I don't binge, although I used to be better.

I try and limit myself to either lasagna or pizza once a week.

And rarely eat fast food (usually arby's if I do).

But yeah, not really ensuring I eat veggies every day at this point (generally every week is more like it now).

I try and be at least semi-good but not going hard core anymore, and I started drinking soda again.

I'll just try and work out more to compensate.

i'm the opposite, i used to chug pepsi like i was pourind fuel into a car and eventually i substituted it for water. now i just usually drink water though occasionally i'll grab a pepsi. and when i do it feels delicious, so much more so than when i was chugging it non stop

I just got back on the soda train to some extent (not a crazy amount though). i drink about a 2 liter of soda a week. I also order shirley temples when I eat out again etc. I still try and drink water or tea most of the time at least.

But yeah, still love the taste of orange soda (Fanta is my favorite). I'll drink root beer sometimes as well.

I'll cut back a bit eventually on that even more, but for now I'm just saying *#$* it and enjoying myself.

Hmm...I don't think I'm a healthy eater and although I do watch what I eat, I'm not religious or obsessive about it.

I like to eat grilled meat; not fried. And I also prefer cuts with little to no fat.

I love vegetables and salads are a part of my meals daily (no dressing); however I also love carbs. I do not limit my carb intake. This really isn't a problem for me as I don't binge eat and have a fast metabolism.

I do not like fruits very much though...so my consumption of this is rather lacking. ://

I love my share of pastries; cheesecakes and all...But I strongly dislike chocolate. So no chocolate cakes or anything with this flavour. I also do not like doughnuts and ice cream.

On most days, I do not consume junk food. However, I do have a cheat day; twice a month allocated for junk food. I also dislike soda or fizzy drinks. Water at room temperature is my preference.

I do not drink or consume alcohol; at all.

My preferences for my eating habits stem from pleasure and not really health; the latter is secondary.

EDIT: Number 3 I guess.

Lol I enjoy when polls are like that.

They probably just don't want to get pounced on when they say they eat pizza every night and wash it down with a Monster energy drink when they most likely already know that it's terrible for them.
