Graduate school I guess, followed by fixing my budget and spending habits.

I've made good progress with working on my self-esteem this year which is nice.

I've given up on finding a job. I know I shouldn't, but I'm sick of applying to the same 15 stores over and over without success, and then they treat you like a hamster playing weird mind games with you.

Why do I want to work for Kroger's? I want money! I'm not here to revolutionize your store like the next messiah.

I'm just waiting until I finish my Associate's degree.

That said, I'm not getting a girlfriend if I live at home, don't drive, and don't have a car, which sucks, I would still really love to have a freaking job.

i think your mindset is in the right place, I wouldn't give up. I think people just don't take what they can get and leave when something comes better. Pick up a crappy job as its better than anything (unless you get decent unemployment) then quit when something comes up. It will be bad but I learned you kinda need to take care of yourself first as opposed to your team/worry about the job. plus if they're playing games even more of a reason to not feel bad!

Honestly, there isn't really a specific.

I live alone in a studio, check.
Have a steady job with a steady income, check.
401k and savings, check.
Dating a wonderfully kinky Chinese girl, check.

If I had to pick though, I guess it's keep working and hope for a promotion or a better job at some point and move into maybe a 1BR/1BA, but if that takes a few years to happen, I'm fine with the way things are now.

Right now, it's paying off my car, although if money permits, maybe I might go back to the gym or join a club up at the YMCA in town. Only reason I'm staying at my current job, which I don't like, is to pay off my car (I only have about $1000 left to pay on it, so it's not like I have much left to pay on it) and save up money to move out of my parents' house. So yeah, my ultimate priority at this point in life, 21 years of age, is to move out of my folks' home. A few years back, it was to get through college, but unfortunately, I flunked out after 2 years, so right now, I'm working, but if money and time persists, I might take some online classes or move to a city or town to do community college or maybe a trade school.

Maybe finding someone to share it with (if I can find a purpose).

Getting in better shape.

Stop drinking soda again maybe.

If it's not my purpose, find a good job I like/enjoy or feel is worthwhile.

I'm mostly trying to manage my money better. I'm pretty set job/house/relationship wise, so now it's just optimizing from there. For a while I had a few hundred grands in a checking account at 0.01% or whatever (very) stupid like that. So i'm trying to figure out how to handle it and hopefully get to retire earlier without tanking my standard of living too much. And for that I need to figure out how to optimize this stuff. So far so good, the last year or so has been much better.

First world problems, and all that.

Your life is the story and you are the protagonist, as they say. Moving out on your own is the next chapter.

I hope it works out for you, and I believe it's absolutely the first step to everything else that you'll accomplish in life.

As far as what I'm putting the most effort into, it'd probably be dating. And by effort, that would be trying to seem like a more likable person. Working on my appearance, exuding a more friendly persona, etc. I've changed a lot as a person, especially in the last few years. And it's been a struggle figuring out who that is and how I want to present myself.

But I also would like to push my career forward. It's just that after ten years, three different jobs, and moving across the country, I've gotten pretty exhausted with it all. It was nice to settle into a place for a couple years, even if it's definitely not something I want long-term. But I feel like I need to work on finding something else. At least something outside of the news industry.
