I think learning to ride a bike would be awesome, but I HATE HOW LOUD THEY ARE

I would simply want to get like a muffler thingy to make it quieter, but this leads me to believe they do not exist because every bike ever is loud as hell. or maybe nobody on earth installs them

This is really one of those questions you could ask Google instead of PotD.

Supposedly a lot of it comes down to engine design although, as far as quiet bikes go, you could just get a hybrid or an electric so I'm not sure why gas is so important. If it's price, the quieter gas models are also expensive. In general, most motorcyclists *try* to make a lot of noise. You'll have them just randomly rev up their engines despite stopping for a light that just turned red.

Yes it is possible and not all that uncommon for them to be relatively quiet. You most likely only really notice the loud ones though.
