Then I tried to watch Season 2 and don't understand what is going on or who all of these people are. So back to the beginning for me and my poor memory. The only thing I've missed is a bunch of S1 stuff. When the show wraps as a whole, I'll probably get HBO Online for a month or two and binge the whole thing. Huh, I didn't even notice despite watching a lot of clips featuring Jefferson. I was mostly just surprised that Paul Giamatti -- the guy from Big Fat Liar, Rhino from ASM2, and a ton of other awful roles -- could actually act. Anyone know why they went with the split season garbage for the final season? No, Arya is pretty bad. Generally speaking, the upstanding people die while the terrible or somewhat compromised ones survive. Of course, it's worth noting that most of the Starks (~~except Arya, who you can peg as a sociopath even early on~~) are halfway decent people. Then you have a lot of characters who sometimes do awful things but usually for the right reasons. Then you have the awful ones who do bad things but recognize an honor code. Then you have terrible people who have warped justification of doing good in their mind (Cersei). Then you have a lot of characters who sometimes do awful things but usually for the right reasons. Then you have the awful ones who do bad things but recognize an honor code. Then you have terrible people who have warped justification of doing good in their mind (Cersei).
