Pokemon: Well, at least now I know what I'm doing with the Ghost trial. This time I led with Incineroar, and just Darkness Lariat'D everything into the ground before too many shenanigans could happen. Unfortunately, after verifying that this is where to catch Mimikyu, I refuse to move on until I have one. I have a bad feeling about how many Golbat fights will ensue. Hate that line.

Cucumber Quest: Almond does more stuff and so does Nautilus! And we are on to Melody Kingdom. I for one am quite hype. As an added bonus, I learned how to pronounce "peridot" (at least the character) which I had been mentally doing wrong until now.

LoliRock 2-3- Puppylove: ...so does that mean Amaru is a dog, or what? There do appear to be purple dogs in this world, so I guess that's believable. This is not their best song or costuming, IMO.

Making some Strawberry Vanilla Jam today, I'll let you know how it turns out. It uses an actual Vanilla Bean rather than Vanilla Extract. The strawberries are picked fresh from the local orchard as opposed to being bought at a normal supermarket.

G-Senjou: I am pretty sure I just skipped the opportunity to boink Kanon. I like Kanon but I am not into the incest angle even in fiction. I wonder if that choice would've affected the plot much though? Well, it probably would've set me on a route at least I'm guessing. Anyway, Yuki showed up, was mysterious for a couple seconds, and then peaced out. I like the new(?) BGM Complications from before the big skating caper. The game is once again afoot!

Shadow of the Giant: Virlomi is getting kinda nuts, and it's an interesting charcter progression. Weird to see the kids seducing each other but I guess at this point they're not really kids anymore. Kinda surprised Alai appears to be playing into her hands, though!

Shadow of the Giant: BEATED. I feel like the Virlomi thing was a bit of an anti-climax, but I did enjoy her character arc to get to that point. Petra winding up with Peter makes a measure of sense I guess, but I'm not sure I'm sold on it. And it looks like we're set up for Bean Jr. vs. Achilles Jr., so let's keep going!

Pokemon: Making progress, but nothing is really noteworthy. I am giving Dugtrio a run in my sixth slot, but he's not impressing me too much. I might try Pikachu some more? For some reason I thought Mimikyu was going to be Electric. Anyway, I am about through the third island's meadow.

The first game is on 7 PM US EST, and the second game is just a short while after the first one ends.

We watched the Ender's Game movie! It was quite good! I am a bit bummed at some of the stuff that they had to cut or truncate, but it was still a good adaptation. I expected more Bean, but oh well.

Mid Season Hiatus Day 22 [Based on when 7.11 - Not Asking for Trouble aired.]

2017 Gold Cup: In all honesty, the US came away pretty fortunate to end the game at a 1-1 draw against Panama, that game could of easily been 2-1 in Panama's favor if it wasn't for a lucky stop at around 55 minutes. But either way, a draw is a much better result than a straight loss.

In the second game, Martinique against Nicaragua, it was all Martinique is this game, Nicaragua did little to threaten the Martinique defense, and with Martinique winning this one 2-0 wasn't much of a surprise given the flow of the game.

Group B:

Mid Season Hiatus Day 23

2017 Gold Cup: Jamaica and Curacao left little to say during the first 45 minutes, as nothing really happened. It took the first goal in the second before either team effectively had any life in them. Jamaica stayed ahead the whole game after scoring, leading 2-0 at the end.

Mexico and El Salvador was definitely the better match, and things got interesting in the first 10 minutes when Mexico and El Salvador exchanged a set of goals each to make it 1-1. Mexico would get the better half of the game, by scoring one more in the first half, and closing it out with another goal in the second half. El Salvador had plenty of good chances, but Mexico held them off for a 3-1 win.

Group C:

3 P +2 GD - Mexico [1-0-0]
3 P +2 GD - Jamaica [1-0-0]
0 P -2 GD - El Salvador [0-0-1]

I assume these will be important at some point...but if this is a place I want to come later, why are the enemies so weak already? ...Right after I typed that, I encountered a chest monster. EqG3- Mirror Magic: It feels slightly redundant somehow having Sunset and Starlight interact! I don't MIND either of them but neither am I really into how they are slowly supplanting their respective casts. I didn't expect to see Juniper again, and particularly not as a heel! Pretty good episode! Pinkie had some good moments.
