Yeah. The naturia plants survive the enemy turn unless they waste a spell on them and then the following turn i get in there with plant food chain or riryoku.

And plant food pays for itself if they pop with HHG. Naturia dragonfly is great late game and against 3SD decks and weevil.

mostly levelling Mai and trying to get the field spell ability. it's taking forever

once I have that, I might try to farm her for a Harpy's Pet Dragon or something

HHG is a drop skill isnt it? so you'll have to farm instead of just grind.

Though getting her to 25 is good for windstorm

Damn... there's a Guardian Angel Joan in the Card Trader right now, and I could use a second one for my Fairy deck. But it would take every coin I have right now and converting a few more cards to get it. I've been making due using Moisture Creature instead of a second Joan for a while, so I could just not bother with it. But then again, I'm not sure what else I could need from the Card Trader any time soon. I already got two C.C. Magician for my Spellcaster deck, two Cestus of Dagla for my Fairy deck, and enough Bazoo and Gravity Behemoth for my banish Beast deck. I don't have any other deck ideas right now.

I don't know which outcome I'd regret more: getting the second Joan and not having enough for something else coming up that I would want, or letting this Joan go by and not having another chance at it for a long time while also not seeing anything else interesting to use my coins on.

What do you guys think? Should I get the second Joan or not?

Definitely go for the Buster Blader support from the new box they added. Amazoness monsters are another option too, as is Gearfried the Iron Knight.

Another option is making a Warrior/Spellcaster deck, which opens up the possibility of Dark Paladin. If you go that route with Dark Magician OR if you use a lot of Warrior-type normal monsters, Blue Dragon Summoner (from the Card Trader IIRC) is a great card that helps you search for them.

Yep, and since the Yami went back to my hand, I could just play it again the very next chance I got. Gravelstorm is such an underrated card in general.

- It's pretty cheap to acquire from the Card Trader.
- It's dependable S/T removal that gets around effects that prevent destruction.
- It's a trap, so you can remove opponent's equip cards after they declare an attack and watch their monster kamikaze into yours.
- It can clear out continuous cards that have served their purpose, like Court Of Justice once all of your level 1 Fairy monsters are gone, to make room for other traps you need to set up.
- It can let you save and reuse your own S/T cards, like returning a Mirror Wall back to your hand to not pay its cost, or returning Fossil Excavation if the monster you revived with it left the field without being destroyed, or returning an Equip spell before the monster it's equipped to gets destroyed.
- And the best trick of all: put Big Bang Shot on an opponent's monster, return it to the hand with Gravelstorm, the monster you put it on gets banished, and you still have Big Bang Shot to use on one of your monsters for the piercing damage.

I usually play a tier 2 or 1.5 deck. My best decks have never cost more than 100 (I think. I have rarity whored a bit)

Tier 1 and 0 decks are flying too close to the sun. Konami will strike those wings down and suddenly that 500 dollar tier 1 deck is gone.

Got that trap card from the duel a thon thing.

"If your opponent attacks a monster in defense mode you can change it to attack mode and if it destroys the attacking monster, your opponent takes damage equal to the attacking monsters original attack".

Wow talk about the perfect card for dealing with all those damn enemy controllers and Kuribohs lol.

So Now I gotta send these cards in the mail.

Total came out 374 and some change.

A part of me wants to keep the cards. Especially my ulti 1st eds Ancient gear golem and megarock dragon. And ulti 1st ed ultimate ancient gear golem (the fusion)

My gear deck has common and ultra rare replacements but those have been with me for years.

Enemy controller can be your best friend against 3SD. The Barrel Dragon you might have a chance if you can summon a monster, EC tribute it, take control of 1 Barrel Dragon and either:

A. Use it's effect, destroy the other BD and attack for the win if it's low enough.

B. Just attack BD with your BD and destroy both of him, essentially crippling his deck but leaving you open for the next attack if he can summon again.

The second situation is tough, and sadly only really passable if you happen to have a Yomi Ship, Hane-hane etc...that can be set face down.

CV will only stop it if it is flip summoned, not if that card is attacked. Only overwhelm can prevent card effects.

hmm if you play attack the moon before the champion viligance is set then you can use it to remove the traps because champion vigilance cant be used to negate effects of continous spells or traps already face up

so if you have a skull lair or an attack the moon face up vigilance cant negate those

My warrior deck is coming along nicely.

Got 2 freeds, 2 the allied forces, warrior returning alive, and the spell that sp. Summons 2 lv5 warriors from hand and or grave.

Then i fill it with grephers gearfried and staples and im ready to roll.

Thought about doing dust knight amarylease but I think i prefer this one.
