Got a 3rd freed! Damn im hyped lol

Ive been on pve to train mai. Finally got windstorm

But the warrior deck has taken me to g4 undefeated! Only issue is i dont know what skill to best utilitize it.

Have 2 builds: mind scan warrior beat and restart amarylease tribute.

So far mind scan beatdown is my preferred build.

Level cap increase coming! Characters will now be able to be leveled to 40...excited for the new card rewards.

The only characters I'm anywhere close to getting those extra rewards with are Tea (maxed out at 35), Mai (at 25 to get Windstorm) and Pegasus (at 33 for Shine Castle), but it'll still be interesting to see what they are. Hopefully Tea's later rewards give me another great Fairy-type monster for my deck.

Nothing is working for me. I feel its because skills are waaaay too important.

Kaiba beatdown, HHG, Mythic hammer/daedulus, PoD Yami.

These are just wrecking me. My best decks dont have a proper supporting skill to go with and its putting me back bad.

do you find burn decks often ? i was thinking if it would be a good idea to run the new anti burn card or not

Specialized burn decks like Tea (duel standby) have seem to have taken a backseat after the wcq prelims.

Weevil decks use burn but I wouldnt tech in anti burn for it. Twisters, wild tornado, and even tribute summons will do.

Im guessing you're talking about the energy absorbing monolith?

Some of these lvl 40 cards are pretty sweet. Time to start grinding. The ones I'm mainly eyeing are

Joey: copycat, finally this card comes out though I wonder how useful it still is these days. Blue flame swordsman ain't bad either as a 4* 1800 attack warrior.

Mai: amazoness paladin, again pretty much just an 1800 attack 4* but we could always use more of those.

Bakura: 6* monster who negates effect monsters it battles could be useful

Bandit Keith: Time Machine, the upgrade to regretful rebirth lol

Pegasus: might finally be able to make a decent toon deck with these.

Just took a look at the new level-up rewards myself... my opinions on the ones that BigG didn't cover already:

Yami Yugi got 2 great new rewards. Vandalgyon is a fun addition if you run a decent amount of counter trap cards, and if you can meet the summoning conditions for Sorcerer of Dark Magic (two Magician's Circle and two Dark Magician Girl will do the trick) and get it out, that's usually a game-ending play.

Kaiba gets Majesty With Eyes Of Blue, which seems like a really fun card if you run Blue-Eyes. Plus, the cost of dumping the Blue-Eyes into the graveyard is great synergy with Vanguard of the Dragon. Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon is nearly impossible to summon and isn't worth the effort, so don't bother.

Tea gets two solid but situational cards. Dark Burning Attack is an interesting tech card for Spellcaster decks that use Magician's Circle to summon Dark Magician Girl a lot, and Mystic Wok is now arguably one of the best life gain cards in the game. Hint: abuse it with Soul Exchange if you can.

Weevil gets a second copy of Insect Armor, but Insects aren't very good to begin with. DNA Surgery has some potential though, since it can disrupt opponent's cards that require a certain type and can combo with any of the "destroy all [type]-type monsters on the field" cards like Eradicating Aerosol.

Rex gets Jurrac Tyrannus, which is a solid boss monster to add to Dinosaur decks (if anyone still runs those), and Fossil Dig, which becomes one of the best no-cost search cards in the game for Dinosaur decks.

Mako gets Beautunaful Princess, which is a great search card for Fish decks (again, if anyone still runs those), and Fish Depth Charge, which becomes one of the most versatile and powerful destruction cards in the game for Fish decks.

Dark Ruler Ha Des for Bakura was already mentioned. His second card is another copy of Goblin Zombie, which helps the consistency of Zombie decks.

Time Machine for Bandit Keith was already mentioned. His second card is 7 Completed, so now it can be used in Machine decks without his specific skill.

Ishizu gets Dragged Down Into The Grave, which really isn't that useful, and Mudora, which I am going to IMMEDIATELY level up to acquire because that thing can WRECK PEOPLE in a good Fairy deck. It can become stupidly strong for a normal-summonable level 4 monster.

Odion's Regulation of Tribe is a high-cost attack stopper that neuters decks that rely entirely on 1 type of monster but suffers against decks that don't. He also gets Magic Planter, a great draw card for decks that use plenty of continuous trap cards. Once a continuous trap loses its usefulness, or is left on the field meaninglessly because the monster it targeted is gone (Fossil Excavation comes to mind) you can turn it into 2 new cards.

Pegasus gets a second copy of Mimicat, as well as Toon Kingdom! Toon Kingdom helps Toon decks a lot, but it's also an EXTREMELY high-risk card in the Duel Links format where the total deck size is much smaller. Banishing 3 cards from the top of your deck, potentially more, puts you at a severe risk of decking out if you don't defeat your opponent fast enough.

The Pair-o-Cocks Brothers (I call them that because they're total dicks to face in PvP) get Ante, which is a situational burn card, but 1000 direct damage is huge in the Duel Links format. Lost Guardian is mostly useless. It can have stupidly high defense, but that will rarely accomplish much.

All in all, I like the new additions a lot. I'm aiming for Mudora ASAP, then after that I might go for Dark Burning Attack and/or Sorcerer of Dark Magic.

Trying an aggressive clown control build, it's pretty good when my draws aren't crap, got me from gold 4 to plat 1 today

Double summon barrel dragon is over powered

they need to do something about this, it's incredibly oppressive, if you're not running 3SD then you need something to counteract 3SD, this is not a fun deck to play against and that's all I've ran into on platinum

Only way to beat that is to have nobleman plus e con take. Assuming they dont have multiple CV or a defensive card

I revamped my warrior deck and have been using joeys reinforcements skill. It lacks a power play but its consistent.

And getting 3 wariors out with the A forces (sometimes multiple ofs) is sexy.

Had 2 2900 atk grephers and a 3k Gearfried.
