The rest will be trailers of games we already know about and the announcement of a Wii Sports port. Meanwhile Sony is rumored to announce at least two games. Looks things up Ah, last year such titles were known off as "Gravity Rush 2," "The Last Guardian," "Horizon: Zero Dawn," and a "God of War" title. At least one of those had less wrong with it in terms of story or gameplay than BotW did, but make the mistake of coming out the same time as the over-the-top hyped BotW. No, Sony didn't really shit the bed in E3. They just showed off a handful of titles that looked decent or better. Nintendo, however, had BotW and that's all you remember. Still, though, Nintendo really has to bring their A game on this one. Switch rides on having a better library than what we've seen revealed so far. Metroid needs new life that apologizes both for "Other M" and Nintendo's general attitude toward "AM2R" even after they struck it down legally. And Sony is, meanwhile, likely to come out with a number of "winning" announcements this year, if cycles of E3 performance are to be believed. Also in the meantime, Squeenix is bound to show off projects we may or may not know about already, and in greater detail. I heard they started patching things up with Nintendo and have a project with them, but we'll see how that goes this year at E3. SE's other projects are likely to be more Playstation-centric. Microsoft... Probably more generic shooters with their rabid fans going "We totally won this year get rekt!" The rest of us will just shake our heads. Again. It's about actual merit to the same extent being an old timey European military officer was. Nobody will know until all is revealed. In case it wasn't obvious, I am fucking tired of all the unwarranted blowing Sony gets. Mattrick was a screw-up and almost killed the Xbox, but what has Sony done since other than ride that wave and half-ass things most of the time or implement horrible policies like "buy it again" and "PS Now" instead of being even remotely willing to offer b/c (which only sucks because PS4 doesn't have it - you know if that were to be announced it would no longer be a useless feature)?! What frustrates me the most though is that every franchise Sony owns is become the same cinematic third-person action game with a new setting. They're all the fucking same, even God of War has fallen into this abyss of creative bankruptcy (I'm not saying Nintendo or MS are much better, but at least they make more than one genre).
