Nana hasn't gotten lynched in a mafia game on board 8 tonmy historian-esque knowledge. If it happened, it was in Forum Mafia. Red hasn't played in Forum Mafia (he was largely against the move)

Ergo, made up tell. If this was for, say, Kanz or KBM I would understand. But Nana? Nah

Should lynch Chris for being a dirty liar, is what I say.

I've caught up in topic, can give sparknotes of my thoughts right now, but I'm a little hesitant because I want to see some more posts from certain people.

Main thing is that I'm afraid of FFD. He is a good player, is playing well, and I have no lean on him either way. He is a person who can run this game regardless of alignment, so it's very worth keeping eyes on him. Also, I heavily encourage this red vs FFD thing.

Will give a few more thoughts after reviewing my notes.

All I've seen from Jeff so far are comments on things. Doesn't feel like any real playing, and I know people like to handwave "new player" on, but that's a really bad strategy when that new player is Scum. But yeah, Jeff is doing classic Scum strat of being active through posting a lot and commenting on things without really directly contributing to discussion. Feel good about this lynch.

Nana focused on Jeff from early-on which I liked, especially when other people are going the "oh he's new route", which puts Nana in the Townish tier for me. I really disliked puns early defense on Jeff for that (not gonna seek out the exact post though I might in a bit). Basically dislike puns there for the same reason I like Nana.

More on puns - hate the complaining about flavor. Too much, feels forced. However, his posts continued to play out in his semi-dumb-playful manner, so if that keeps up (which I'm not seeing!) then that's usually a Town tell for him.

KBM is obviously an easy lynch, but I really hated her hopping on Nana. That just feels like Scum picking an 'easy' lynch to put themselves on to.

Boko hasn't really posted much, but it was a whole smattering of fluff so that really rubs wrong. Want to see more, but that's still the early read.

That's basically my shorthand (minus my #1 Scum read) at the moment. MI would be on the Townish tier but that was just for saying I was a good player.

Maybe I didn't explain it well enough, but that's not it.

Let me put up a trio of players - Chris, red, FFD. All good players, all tough to read (at least to me).

Chris seems very happy to play this game. Chris is an emotional player. He tried to put Boko back on track early. I don't really have an alignment read either way from him yet, but the gears are turning and I feel myself locking on some opinion of him after this day.

Red is traditionally pretty inactive, but he carries a little bit of a scheming energy to him when he's Scum, or a more earnest energy when he's Town, so I feel that I can lock him down eventually.

FFD has posted a lot and I feel absolutely nothing. That's a huge red flag, because usually I feel at least SOMETHING. death looked a little bad for his first couple posts until I read them correctly and realized I liked what he was talking about in terms of meta. Boko posted a little, but it still came across as Scummy. I already have someone pegged as Scum for their first post.

FFD is nothing. He's a void to my gut. I don't trust that.

(just refreshed before posting)

Not set on a feel for red yet. It feels more like he's been pulled into the game instead of saying his own piece. I do like that he's sort of at-odds with FFD, and I do like that he's trying to keep people on track, though Scum Red would say that exact same thing.

In summation, not enough content for me to really settle on him, but from what I've seen so far, it doesn't look like he's trying to fly under the radar.

Sure - town Nana is proactive and makes things happen. Scum Nana is reactive and waits for things to happen.

You always have... a bit of an attitude and I know it took me a while to differentiate and not just think you're scum when you get that way. Like last game, as an observer, when you were yelling at Ulti to vote you. Thai attitude, imo, makes people want to Lynch you, although it made me able to tell you were town.

However your attitude with not answering reds questions, attitude but also unhelpful, reads less town to me.

For a new player, it's how much they feel genuine vs. how much they feel like someone who is trying to fit in somewhere they don't.

I fully admit my gut sometimes falters on new players because most new players are playing while trying not to arouse suspicion, but I don't feel like that's the case here.

It feels like JZ is palling along with everybody in a sort of "hey guys! haha! I'm your friend!"

Fair.

I'm not trying to defend JZ here. He's an unknown with a slight town mean in my mind. But in a game with this much mafia skill, anyone trying to go the easy route of lynching the only new player today would just make me sad at the lazy effort.

Chris and FFD seem very comfortable. Don't think that means anything, as they probably both would be as either scum or town. Maybe slight town points to FFD as he's out of practice?

This is not a true statement. Beyond that, my sample size with nana is something like 3 games. And to the best of my knowledge hes basically drawn negative attention early in most of them. Also being an easy lynch is more akin to personality type than anything. The players that usually get lynched early simply aren't pushy. Think like, no offense meant here but, a kbm or a kanz. They aren't going to lead discussions, and even when pressed, you might get a little more fire but to most people it just looks like anger and flailing moreso than anything. Its not that he has been lynched, its that if a few things turned a little differently he easily could have been.

On top of that, on this player list, nana is definitely the one I'd lable as an outsider. Everyone else could be described as a b8er, nana is not.

Also MI since you are here what do you think of me

Has Leo posted yet btw

Leo has been basically inactive to the best of my recollection all of the recent games I've played with him. Would hope that changes but I'm not holding my breath.

That's basically what I was expecting. Nana's personality leads people to wanting to Lynch him, so even if it doesn't really happen a lot I would still quantify him as an easy lynch. Get one good scum player to go at him hard and it's over.
