And why?

Mine was 2015.

- I went to 9 different countries due to my exchange program in my master's degree;
- Had my last summer without having to work, and went to the south of Portugal for 10 days with some friends
- Started dating my current girlfriend in November 2015;
- Had sex with 3 different girls in one year (my ex girlfriend of 1.5 years in January (before going to Belgium), a girl I've dated during my exchange program and my current girlfriend). It's weird if I think about it, because 2015 it's the year I had sex with all the 3 women I had sex in all my life - yes I lost my virginity in 2013 when I was 20.

2016

I started my teaching career in February and lived in 3 different cities. I also got into the best shape of my life.

I think it was the year I took off (just didn't go to school) in 4th or 5th grade and just worked a bit (enough to make money for food), ate Pizza Hut Pizzas every day while watching TMNT on tv, and bought a ton of mint chocolate chip icecream that I would munch on as well.

I was pretty happy that year I think.

No idea. Nothing is ever only just good. Most years when something good happens, something terrible also happens. Likewise, few years have only been bad. Everything tends to balance out.

Yeah, that is how I fed myself (and my brother at that point). He got put in the system when I was 11 (he was 9), because he was acting out at school. My dad left when I was 2 (when my brother was born), and my mom was in and out of mental institutions. Until I could work I lived off school lunches (would save up the tabs on days it was food I couldn't eat like egg salad sadwiches and get 2 the next day).

By the time I was in 4th grade I found under the table jobs I could do to make cash. Still remember the first time I had enough cash to just go into a mc donalds and buy as many burgers as I could eat, it was glorious.

By junior high I had a job through young life working at Great America, and before that I would work at Camp Mendicino during the summer (first at the archery range then when I got smart the next 2 years, in the kitchen as you got extra food).

I often felt like I missed out as a kid not having parents and having to work, but honestly after hearing so many people complain about their parents, I think I actually made out. Never had any rules or people telling me what to do, and could eat whatever I wanted.

It was certainly a different way to grow up, but it worked for me I guess. I graduated on my 16th birthday (3 years early) AND skipped a year (4th or 5th, didn't go for the whole year but I tested so high they had me just advance anyway). Was making more then most people who graduated from 2 years of college by the time I was 17 (and saved half of everything investing in EE bonds which had insane interest back then (13% or so).

Kinda always felt bad about missing the high school experience though, but enough people said it blows/is boring etc that I got over it.

Probably 2005. I was carefree in many ways, I met the girl I'd ultimately marry. I was good looking enough to be popular regardless of what I did or said. It truly was a golden age.

2012/2013 renovated and bought a house, got married and then my son was born.

My mid to late teen years were the most interesting times though. There was the ying and yang of lots of partying, lots of sex and also alot of messed up stuff and heartache.

I guess 2002. I finished high school, got a legal settlement, and I mostly just lounged around at home while everyone else was at work.

Then my family drained my money, and I had to get a job, and it went back to how it was before.
