SotN has too much copy/paste level design, many rooms don't feel unique or are just corridors with different backgrounds. In Super Metroid every room feels unique. I remember when I found myself at the bottom of that shaft and you see the creatures jump up off the walls, and knowing what I had to do, it still took me like 20 minutes to make it up. Which items do you have? I gave up on that area and got stuck in a new one full of water. There was a bit waterfall of sand that I couldn't get past. Now I'm just exploring the map in general.
