So we really do need to get out shit in order.

We're not actually pressuring anyone and not actually getting any claims and we just are spinning our wheels in circles - and worse, the same (or similar) circles that we've been spinning them in day 1.

We need to focus and figure this out.

Puns have already claimed.

After that, I haven't seen many people thinking that death, dowolf, or Shad are actually town, so let's actually get information from one of them.

Of those, only one is actually here.

##Vote: death

On the record, I will say that I like Shad as town. More of a gut feel based on past games (Drawing shades of Skyrim from him). Will be doing a reread shortly on my lunch break.

I'm now a little concerned that MI jumped from Dowolf to me, and then quickly pivoted to someone else after unvoting me - but I'm not sure it's so unreasonable. Maybe I just don't like the Death vote. My primary impetus for not wanting to lynch Death right now is that I'm not a fan of VI and he was pushing for a death claim ["but not necessarily a lynch."]

Mostly because I feel like I've been the one who really said it was a town red and he misconstrued the point. Red isn't town because he went 'grr', he is town for the nuanced things like genuinely apologizing and being stubborn in defense of how it went down and also how he has thought about the game today with me.

I am going to be at work for another 6ish hours and then will be free, but I am cheating right now so what I will say is you guys need to get a move on when it comes to helping me pressure VI. Right now there has been absolutely nothing in the way of a solid offensive and the day isn't lasting that much longer. I am declaring myself town overlord and unless someone wants to counterpoint me hard, and MI doesn't count since his judgment is clearly compromised if he thinks death is scum, let's get a move on with VI.

Maybe (I don't recall off hand who said that) but that's a classic scum tacti you just did then.. As town you should always address the best, most comprehensive argument because if you have a good point you can counter that defense. Instead you go after the basic argument that can be attacked, but perhaps shouldn't be if we want good results.

Aside from puns, nobody had said anything at all about me until, in very quick succession, Chris, red, MI, you.

Chris's statement was bad because it relies on him not reading the game, red's statement parroted Chris's, MI's actually had sense behind it, and then yours came completely out of nowhere. That's why it looks so bad. Like you're trying to sneakily hop aboard a train of suspicion on someone who is Town without giving any clear explanation.

I don't trust anyone on FFD's lynch aside from Red because I recognize that dick waving from yesterday as a town red thing to do. It was totally pointless to go after FFD like that and the vultures just swooped in and robbed town of a very strong player.

red, Leo and KBM (and me and Scare) are the players to vote FFD before FFD basically showed up to laugh at everyone

everyone who voted FFD after that got a pass to do with FFD what they wanted (town or scum), and there werent even that many, surprisingly (... maybe scum was affraid of a townbomb? I dunno)

KBM is the player I trust the least out of those three, and Red I sorta like, but I admit I dont read him well most of the time

I have liked red for a majority of the game. His push on FFD was very sincere and also not really calculating. Like I said, it was a dick waving contest. He has also sounded genuine when I've chastised him for lack of content and has done an earnest job to correct it rather than just offer empty platitudes.

So I don't see a scenario where Scum Chris opens the day like that. With the redirection part too it just feels like an unnecessary amount of show boating in a game with a really good player list. The regrettable part is Chris now wants to lynch me but it's a lot simpler for it to be Town Chris here. By extension that makes me feel better about red as well.

Yeah, I simplified it, but I do think the concept is right.

But yesterday Scare said 'I'm at the doctor" and death backed off.
Today dowolf said "When I unvoted I might've still been lynched" and death backed off.

It feels to me like death is afraid to be going after people too hard if he gets any sense of resistance.

Thinking on things overnight, I really want to go after Death or VI, where the question is mostly, do I want to go after the person who either bowed really quickly under pressure or showed critical thinking? Or do I want to go after the guy who double down on aggression?

But then we go back to how things were last night, where I pointed out how VI was basically inactive for the last half-hour before lynch. If I am right regarding it being a town/town/town lynch at the end there -- and, quite frankly, I am willing to bet the house that it was -- what will scum want to do? Well, they will want to stay quiet and make sure it's town that winds up looking bad for pushing the death of whoever flips town. Shit adds up.

So okay. Let's do this.

Unsure. His claim seems unnecessary and risky as scum, but I've learned first hand not to write Chris off as town based on things like that. He hasn't said anything that has really pinged me as negative and he's been consistent. All things considered, it's probably just Chris-fear that's keeping me from saying town.
