Bruxish would have finished last place if Eddv never sent in a list for this project. At least XIII can be satisfied that Bruxish didn't finish last place, since I know he would have placed Bruxish in his Top 10 for sure.

I don't know, I do have some really high ranked Pokemon on my list that I know will finish quite poorly in the rankings. There's also lefty to worry about, as he's been in the running for top outlier spot in almost every single ranking project we've had. One of the only exceptions was the Top 100 ranking project, since most of lefty's favorites from Gen 1-6 weren't eligible for this project.

My main concern is my #1 ranked like 50th or worse.

I'm also concerned about that for my #1, which I suspect will probably finish around the middle of the rankings. I'd be quite pleased if it finished higher than 50th.

Overall I should do alright I think. A few of the pokes I like from this Gen are quite popular and should do very well. But there's definitely a bundle that I hate and will also do well.

I feel like I ranked some stuff higher than I should have. I haven't invested much in this gen so there aren't many I even care about. I don't even know a lot of those UBs since I didn't do the post game and looking at some closer now I feel like I ranked some too high. It was kinda hard grouping some together too because base Wishiwashi is kinda lame, but the school form is awesome

I'll be fairly surprised if the #1 overall isn't Mimikyu, Rowlet, or Decidueye. I can't think of anything that gets nearly the same amount of praise as those three.

Luster Soldier: Just like with Alolan Geodude, this Pokemon's design is neither an improvement or downgrade from the original.

swordz9: Manlier Graveler

Inviso: Graveler's the weakest in its line, and Alolan Graveler is the weakest in ITS line. It's completely unremarkable.

Raka_Putra: Such a bizarre shaped critter. But its typing is neato.

ctes: The idea to make this rock/electric is very sad. Gound was absolutely the type to keep and I would've loved this line. But just like Tyranitar, rock is apparently the favorable type of the two. Game Freak likes rock way more than they should. Now it's a pretty bad combination. Furthermore, Graveler looks awful in alolan form imo. Not really anything good to say about it whatsoever.

Drakeryn: "prison where inmates are forcefed lard through tubes going down their throats, to make them too fat to move so that they are incapable of hurting themselves or others" - MycroProcessor in the fetish nomination topic

Cybat: This looks more like a Mega Evolution (a la Aerodactyl) than an alternate form. This is not a good thing.

If an Alolan ends up #1 I think it will probably be the worst winner this ranking series has ever had. They're just so lazy and even the good ones aren't very amazing

I kind of like normal Graveler. This thing is just all right though I guess.

I suppose I could maybe see A-Ninetales or A-Marowak having a shot at #1, but I still doubt it. An A-Sandslash win wouldn't be bad, but I haven't heard many people hyping that one up. I think other ones are too divisive.

StifledSilence: I named it huggoos after what I refer to hugs around my son.

hotdogturtle: I didn't like the design when I first saw the artwork because the mouth looked weird on the body. But once we saw it ingame it looked fine. One of the few Pokemon that I'd actually admit looks better in 3D than 2D.

Raka_Putra: Common and annoying.

Luster Soldier: A ton of people immediately compared Yungoos to Donald Trump within hours of its reveal. Despite all the comparisons to Donald Trump, this Pokemon was not actually based on him. Junichi Masuda himself confirmed this Pokemon was not intended to be based on Donald Trump. I didn't think they would have enough time to create a Pokemon based on Donald Trump following his announcement to enter the US presidential race in June 2015. By the end of 2015, I assume Game Freak had finalized all of the Pokemon designs for the Gen VII Pokemon. The window of time between June 2015 and the end of the year would not have given Game Freak enough time to create a Pokemon based on Donald Trump.

Cybat: Might be my favorite early Normal but that's not really saying much.

ctes: And so we get to the ever annoying traditional two stage normal type line you're introduced to right away every generation. They're mostly all bad. When the best of them is Zigzagoon, you should absolutely know you should stop making these lines every generation. They cut so many traditions this gen, why did this have to stay. And I know Ermine hypnotized parts of board 8 with Zigzagoon love, but let's be real, it's not that great. I'm in doubt in which is worst in itself, but Yungoos is the most annoying because this time they thought it was a good idea to keep the line super common everywhere the whole damn game. And damn was it now.

Paratroopa1: if you look at it from the right angle then it just kind of looks like a normal animal, and that's fine. it's fine. just UGH keep those teeth away from me argh
