Well?

Having worked fast food, restaurant, AND call centers:

People who ask for sups or managers are 100% of the time in the wrong or morons. Or manipulative assholes. Even if the employee has poor deescalation skills, they are typically still right.

I question if these clowns asking for managers have ever even worked before.

I've never had to call for a manager because I'm not an insensitive a-hole whose goal in life is to get over on people.

I've asked to speak to managers several times when whoever is serving me is really damn good. I figure managers hear enough crap they should also get the good stories.

I had to speak with one at a furniture store because the employee did not put half of my gf's furniture order on. So we get a delivery with a no couch, a mattress and no box spring, head/foot boards for the bed but no rails to connect the 2, no TV stand. The employee immediately knew what was up when we called and apologized but he was not helpful about it, and this was a very time sensitive move. We ended up getting everything resolved at 50% off and free rails, so it turned okay despite being a huge inconvenience.

And there's nothing wrong with wanting to speak to a supervisor if it needs to come to it. The fuck outta here with that condescending garbage.

I've had a lot of customers speak to a manager, only to get proved wrong on a food item's price.

Know your case is a severe minority of actual cases.

People literally ask for supervisors because I don't want to break a federal fucking law. The entitled idiots far exceed the legitimate.

When a server goes over the top I do ask for a manager so they get recognition. If I'm eating out and something is raw ( which has happened to me before ), the manager will find out because that is a serious safety risk.
