No

But I did get a "warning" from one of my friends one night at a party

I was talking to this girl, super cute, conversation was going swimmingly. Turned out we had the same professor for the same class, but just in different times of day, so there was plenty to talk about.

My friend interrupts briefly to whisper in my hear, "hey man, that's Jake's (I think that was the guy's name) girl" -- it wasn't as innocuous as it sounded, the tone in his voice made it sound like this Jake guy had noticed and was upset or something (which wasn't the case because this Jake dude was like a former Marine or some shit and would have no problem kicking my ass if it really came down to that, so Jake would definitely have approached me himself).

Then he walks away, and the flow of conversation with this girl was totally gone because part of me is like A.) Damn, I thought this girl was single, so I don't really want to waste time tonight tryna get my dick wet, and B.) Here I am thinking this former Marine is about to kick my ass or something. So I awkwardly walk away.

The annoying part though was later that evening, the same guy who "warned" me was like "dude go get her number!" I'm like the fuck bro you personally told me to back off.

It was really a frustrating situation.

No but I kid you not if a girl doesn't like her bf she will have no issues with anybody (they like) hitting on them

Nope.

If she's not married she's still on the market. If you can end your relationship with a sentence "I'm breaking up with you" then you're still single.

The guy is misplacing his anger. It should be with her, not the other guy.

Yeah, it was pretty funny.

I didn't hit on her, I just told him she was hot and he hated me after that.

I've actually been in a fight before. She didn't tell me she was married. Luckily he was as horrible at fighting as I was.

No. But I should have. There was one fucked up instance where the girl sat on my lap when we were around a campfire and her boyfriend eventually came over and sat with us and acted like everything was normal and never indicated that he cared at all.

No, I don't move in on marked territory. I did have a girl break up with her boyfriend after I told her that though so that I would move in on her. We were only together for 4 months though, she was a psycho.
