But in all seriousness, you really should have finished it before now. Especially at that length. By the way, just to show how small 300 words is. This post is already 36 percent of it (including the stuff after this). With a quick intro and short summary at the end. You'd be looking at maybe 200 words for a main body. My playgroup remembers things better than I do sometimes. I don't do long monologues often (only when there's a major shift in the story usually), and they typically seem to like them. The trick is to make it at least somewhat interactive.
