That's what I'm using. She isn't even max potted for mag and she's over 950 mag.

So apparently someone on reddit found an insanely easy way to do spark chains as long as you're on an Android phone. Works insanely well for a ton of people too, to the point where they're consistently hitting max chains with Tidus.

Just did my few tickets trying to chase Ashe. Didn't get her, but did get Vanille and Hayate, so some decent TMR's for the future I guess. And my daily got me my second Hope in a row. Blech. Half tempted to pull a 5k, both as an attempt to get some additional TMRs (especially a Zidane) as well as try and pull Ashe, but something tells me this early in the game there's no real reason to go for her.

It's time once again for "How much does it cost?"

2,436,150 Motes are needed to buy absolutely everything, which include 180,000 worth of new 5* awakening material, 648,000 of the expensive 6* materials, and 1,360,000 for the complete Pure and Giancryst collection.

That leaves 248,150 Motes for crap like rare consumables, Magic Key Ingredients, Sacred (but not Holy) crystals, the cheaper 6* materials, Metal Gigantuars, and all that crap.

What's interesting is the return of the 30 Mini Burst Pots costing 1500 Motes each. Yeah... not sure if they're worth it at all.

The unique items include a 130 ATK Spear (I think its Doublehanded though), Wind element dagger with speed plus, light element rod, an Adaman Vest with Fire Resist but weak to Ice, and 4 each of the Warrior Lore and Mage's Monograph abilities.

I currently have a flex spot in my main lineup, does Ashe play well with Orlandeau? If her chains are element less, then in theory she shouldn't disrupt the Divine Ruination shenanigans and the off heals ought to be nice.

You probably figured out by now, but he can chain with his new spiffy move Assault Strike(8 hits, ST), can no-sell stop with his aoe, and his new aoe disease. (Plus low chance to counter magic with aoe break, and a physical evasion.)

Not a great unit, but works if your team is lacking.

Not me. We can buddy our judges together and be Ashe-less forever. I may chase her with some more tickets, but that's only because I'm also chasing a Zidane to get DW.

By the way, I'm assuming since I have the big-bonus unit, it's probably polite to leave him up as my leader, even if he's not by best unit at the moment?

Cool. Then at least I feel somewhat better by being able to speed up Mote farming for myself and others. Plus he seems like he'll have some niche uses, especially if I need immediate buffs over Rikku's one-turn setup.

Zargabaath is the one that confuses me more because he seems to be a global exclusive yet is... like a more defensive Noctis, focused on being a jack of all trades. he can heal (ST 100% HP + 50 MP), he can raise elemental resistances (40%), he can counter (50%), he can evade physical and magic (20%), he's got a mini-Holy Explosion, a MAG-based skill (why) that reduces damage by 20%), and has some excellent buffing utility (ST 100%, AOE 60% + some status ailment immunity).

he can do all that while being ill fitted for some of it and needs Dual Wield so he can properly use both buffs. i don't have any Excalibur yet so i can't get his ideal setup, though Durandal is a good tier 2 weapon and with Roberta's TMR for +30% MAG is enough to make him fairly strong. a good fire spear/hammer/katana would be best here if that was your goal though. he can do a lot but is just missing that edge.

Personally I veer towards making him support with a dash of damage at best since he can't reach the middling offensive numbers without straining himself in the process.

I see him as a great backup to Rikku if I need stat buffing, and I know Tilith is going to be tied up with healing. I can't reasonably see why I would ever want to take Rikku out of the party, but he's at least something. The 4-turn buff is great if I really need to beef up WoL for tanking or Tidus for damage, and while he doesn't have the damage reduction, his elemental resistance doesn't seem awful compared to hers, especially since it's not behind a setup move. He doesn't feel awful, but he's definitely disappointing compared to the rest of my high profile units.

i think i agree with that down the road. he doesn't even have an exclusive materia, which is disappointing.
for now in this trial i want him as a bit of DPS, though i don't know if i'll ever really use him. his niche is basically just tanky support. which is great when i need it, though with Rikku and WoL, i'm not sure how often that is.

If we exclude awakenings and TMR-units, the notable ones will be,

Victoria: aoe dark magic 10-hitter that grows stronger.

William: Earth aoe multi hitter with earth down resistance.

Aria: Another gold healer with aoe full heal LB+hightide, heal ailments and aoe full revival.

Mistair: Magical WoL and a bit more.

Jesus. If there's nothing interesting coming out anytime soon, I'm going to have a very, very hard time having to on my lapis stores. I've got a very itchy trigger finger when it comes to gatchas, and can never save for long. I don't spend money anymore (spent more than I care to think about on PAD), but I couldn't get more than a few pulls worth of stones before feeling the urge to gamble.
