Still it gives me great satisfaction to wait until 2AM in the morning when they probably are sleeping to play my music full blast. I don't do it all the time but when I need some amusement I do. The fact that stats like these exist is more than enough reason to disregard them. .......wut that logic makes no sense at all. doesn't address the scope of the studies, their data collection or methodologies...they just shouldn't be referenced because they exist? I think the implication is that they're bullshit because how the fuck do you quantify 'freedom'? Okay, you can choose what religion you have therefore you get three freedom points. However, you can go to jail for teaching your job to do a hitler salute, that's -2 freedoms. Therefore you have 1 freedoms. I skimmed through the first one and tried to ascertain what exactly their method was for assigning a quantifiable value to an abstract concept like 'freedom' but I couldn't find it. Of course, I didn't look very hard because reading those reports makes me want to claw my eyes out. I'm reminded of the whatever naked survival show and deadliest warrior show where they just kind of arbitrarily assign a numerical value to abstract concepts.
