I thought he was alright as a kid, although I didn't really like his show. I only remember ferociously chanting the theme song, but the show itself wasn't that great, just a bunch of goofy sound effects and gimmick experiments. Beakman was better. However, since the SJWs got a hold of him, he's been insufferable and science should and can not be used for virtue signaling.

My statement still stands. People here (and conservatives as a whole) get horribly afraid when people challenge their world view and will straight up deny facts. The amount of trans hate on this board is disgusting. You all feel the need to degrade and insult anyone is different. What does that even mean? Sex is the thing there are only two of, mainly based on the 2 distinct roles in sexual reproduction. Gender is a psychology thing and as such there probably are as many different genders as there are people.

Bill Nye is a comic failure, and an Electrical engineer that has no business pretending he's an expert on climate, or physics. In short, everything about the man is a fraud and his entire career has been a farce until he finally found a bully pulpit from which to shout at the world. He's a lowest common denominator attention whore that is easily reduced to a set of tired memes that finally found a way to make a quick buck and will beat that horse until either it dies or he does.

To be fair, I always thought he was kind of an asshole. Because he seemed to come across like a bit of a prick, and he always seemed like the least funny person on Almost Live.

But I also have zero nostalgic affection for him (like so many other people online seem to) because I was already like 17 when his science show started, and I didn't watch it because I already thought he was kind of a dick by that point (and because I was already watching actual science and history shows on channels like History and Discovery, back when they actually still had educational shows and not the hot garbage they mostly show these days).

But yeah, he hasn't really done much to endear me to him over the last decade or two either.

First one is asking if trans people should be more represented in the media.
Most said not, but reading through the topic, most of those no votes are nowhere near 'no because I hate trans people'. They'd also likely vote no for greater cis representation by the same tokens.

Second is asking if trans people should be allowed to enlist. I didn't even bother reading the topic since a large majority said yes.

Is any trans hate too much? Yes, but even Smarkil admitted there was some here. Your attempted indictment of this board because it exists here is hardly laudable. Your examples are laughable. Your position is untenable. Just stop.

The second topic has a bunch of posts modded. I don't know what those posts say, however I only know that Schmen/TrollPolice was one of them and he is one of the people I mentioned in my earlier post.

As for the first one, first of all it's an NMB topic, second of all almost none of the posts within that threat were 'trans hate'. They were just people that went against the ridiculous notion that trans people should be more represented in media. Nobody should be 'more' or 'less' represented by media. They should be represented as much or as little as they are. One of the most highly rated shows on TV, Orange is the New Black, features a transgender person.

Trying to force someone to put transgender people into media is idiotic. Which is what those people were saying. I don't want 'more' transgender people in media in the same way I don't want 'more' cisgender people in media. Claiming that this is trans hate is stupid.

Finally, it's worth noting that there's a pretty high population of trans people on this board compared to the general population. I'm not even particularly well versed on the inhabitants of this board, but there are like four that I can think of off the top of my head and I probably couldn't name more than 20 people here. I don't think any one of them ever gets shit except for Kana who gets harassed by the aforementioned users.
