21 y/o Chey Alvarez from British Columbia, Canada awoke from a Coma and discovered that her LEG had been AMPUTATED after a horrific spider bite that became infected with a flesh-eating bug!!

She was left fighting for her life as doctors battled to stop the rapidly spreading infection..

She was at home last month when she got bit o her right ankle which is now believed to have been a brown recluse spider..

2 days later, she contracted the rare diseases of necrotizing fasciitis, a rare but serious bacterial infection

She was put on life support and in an induced coma during which medics were forced to cut off right leg below the knee

Chey knew something was wrong when she came out of a coma as she asked for a pen to write and her mother struggled to read what she had written but it had said "Am i missing a foot?"

Her mother delayed telling her the devastating news because she was still on life support and wanted to gain a couple more healing days before telling her the bad news

The spider apparently attacked other parts of her body including her arms, leg and hip area..

Necrotizing fasciitis is an infection caused by bacteria that destroys skin, fat and tissue covering the muscles within a very short time that can lead to organ failure and eath

Brown Recluses are native to the midwest and southereastern united states and second most venomous spiders after black widows but are rare in Canada.

They are "shy" by nature and only bite when threatened but it's bite is venomous.

The family is now fundraising to help with medical costs as she will have to learn to walk again..

Chey is heartbroken as she feels she can't do anything by herself anymore but will attempt to make it as normal as possible..

Do you think spiders that bite humans causing serious injury should be "killed"?

i don't think it's an individual's responsibility or even their right to take the life of anything, except maybe true useless parasitic lifeforms like ticks, fleas, mosquitos, etc., but spiders aren't total parasites and actually benefit the ecosystem in ways

HOOOOOOOOWEVER, brown recluses and other venomous little shits can go fuck themselves. I still don't kill them when I find them, I try to catch them and throw them outside where nature can finish them off naturally, but it's annoying as shit to know such a tiny little fucker can make such a big impact

honestly, i wish humans weren't so shit. why can't you useless lazy fucks eradicate all the annoying fucks of the world? No more dumbass spiders, scorpions, mosquitos/ticks, etc. Fucking kill them all dude. It's our planet, not theirs. fuck 'em. why can't they all just die?

Why the fuck haven't we done shit about this yet? I mean yeah like I said earlier spiders balance the ecosystem (but still, fuck em), but what about shit like ticks and other parasites? they literally do nothing except fuck with other living creatures and the nutrition they provide to their predators is so insignificant, considering their tiny size

i dunno man i just think the human race wastes a lot of gosh damned potential. and don't ask me HOW we would go about eradicating species that's not my fucking problem dude i'm not a scientist or some shit. Just fucking figure it out. Use poison gas or some shit I don't fucking know. Gosh damn it I hate nature.

I know you have that issue about you having too many chromosomes, but getting rid of spiders and other small arthropods would really fuck up earth's ecosystems.

Nope. Life existed on earth before humans and probably will after. With that said though I'd kill anything that caused a risk to my life or my loved ones or at least die trying.

I know you have that issue about you having too many chromosomes, but getting rid of spiders and other small arthropods would really fuck up earth's ecosystems.

Glossing over the fact that it would be virtually impossible to eradicate any bug species
