In case you missed the topic about it, three new Persona spinoffs were announced. P3 and P5 get their own dancing games, and they're making a Persona Q sequel.

The dancing games have trailers and are announced for next spring. No real info about PQ2. I'll definitely grab the dancing games because I'm one of the rare people who liked P4DAN. Assuming we get the games localized, that is. Not sure if there's a reason why we wouldn't get them though. No interest in PQ2 because dungeon crawlers are not for me.

Also, am I the only one who sees a trailer or something talk about a 2018 release date, and my reaction is, "Man, that's so far away...Wait, no, that's next year." I don't know what it is, but my mind can't seem to come to grips with the fact that 2018 is around the corner.

I don't know about that, unless we are talking specifically about the last track in said palace.

There should have been shorter/fewer rat hallway puzzles. Interesting the first few times, but eventually got sick of it. However I loved everything in the Palace outside of those rooms.

Best palace music is definitely the one that plays in the lobby of Kaneshiro's Palace imo.

Can't believe I forgot that one when we were listing good songs earlier actually.

Palaces 5, 6, and 7 all had very good music. The previous Palaces were unimpressive in that respect.

Palace 4 had the second best Palace theme so I'll disagree there. None of the others were all that special, IMO.

Aw yeah Makoto maxed out

Gonna work on Futaba and Yusuke some more before I try to conquer this Palace. Yusuke's at level 8, so I should be able to finish that one fairly soon. Futaba's only at level 5 though, so I might not be so lucky there. Still working on trying to max out my social stats, too, so I can get past all these roadblocks.

And if you're looking for a textbook example of "gap moe", there's Makoto going from confidently affirming her college plans to nervously asking to "be together" in an instant. I couldn't help but laugh at how unsubtle it was.

Now that I think about it, Persona 3 has a canon pairing, which is rather strange considering there are no "friendship" options for S. Links. Persona 4 has avoided making any sort of canon declaration probably because they created so many different ships with a sizable following. I feel like Makoto is easily the best option in Persona 5 (out of the party members anyway...!), so she might end up being canon.

Emperor second favorite Confidant. Yusuke probably goes through the best transformation. Boat and Church scenes were hilarious. Plus, the paintings were cool.

Somehow I've become extremely underleveled and I don't even know how it happened. Up to this point, I've managed to stay in the general area of the "Average Level" stat the Thieves Guild provides, but now I'm like 7-8 levels behind. Not sure how that happened!

Because of people that have already completed the Palace maybe? I believe when I finished Palace 6 I was around 55 and after Palace 7 63-64. Don't remember what was the average though.

I've done a couple of them, but I haven't been able to fuse one because I apparently missed a really low level Persona needed for an advanced fusion and I don't know the formula to fuse that one now, so I haven't done much with it for a while.

I started playing P3 a couple months back. It's a little "weird" for my tastes and I haven't had much time for gaming recently but I'm sure I'll pick it back up when the weather gets crappy again. At that point, I may be better off just starting over because I really don't remember much

Chatting with Dragon Age's Creative Director on twitter and twitch tonight and he told me DAO's Tactics system is as heavily inspired by FF12's Gambits as it seems. Heh, knew it. Apparently DAI's regionalized world system wasn't so much a pull from FF12's zones as I thought, though. They just wanted variety in color palette.

Yeah, you're probably better off starting over, especially if this is your first foray into the Persona universe because all of the terminology and stuff can be confusing to keep up with if you drop yourself back in partway through.

Jeff isn't going to play ME:A because he's gotta clear his schedule for Trails 3 and Cold Steel. Though really the news that ME:A was apparently abandoned has significantly cooled any interest I had in picking it up.

I'm tepid on the whole situation and I've been trying not to dwell on it because it's just a very unfortunate scenario all-around. Most of my BioWare thoughts have been on Corey Gaspur, though. He passed away recently. He was a very good dude who I met a couple of times at conventions while doing the circuit.

Almost certain that the average level at that point gets inflated because people are doing the Reaper Flu trick.
